Lots of bugs lately

I was happy to find a basic app without adds, I still use it for this reason but lately there’s way more bugs that there used to be. Idk why it always asks me for my current “goal” when I enter the app which is annoying, it didn’t do that before. And if I don’t enter an observation for one day it won’t count it on the analysis chart, which is really annoying. I’ve even noticed it skip a whole day and had to go back and enter fake data for it to get counted. This wasn’t an issue before so idk why it is now. Also I would really like them to add a way for us to add our own symptoms that we want to track like they already have for moods. I always get back pain on my period and it’s not even and option.

Great app, love the informative approach

The extra information and analysis this out goes out of their way to provide is extremely empowering to know and help helps. Women take charge of our own fertility and truly understand what is going on with our bodies. I wish more apps were like this. I love this approach and I love that you can use it to both try for or avoid pregnancy. I also love that they don’t sell your data like so many other tracking apps do! You can even use this app without making an account and have everything be entirely local on your phone although you run the risk of losing your data if anything happens to your phone however, I appreciate the informed consent with which they tell you both of those options.

Love it but it has some bugs

Love how simple the interface is and how much you can customize! I also appreciate that it doesn’t toss ads or paywalls up in order to access the main features.

However, I’m quite frustrated with the following glitches and/or lack of features:

1. There is nowhere in the app to contact developers and report bugs. I had to write this review to get this info across.

2. The “intake” screen that grabs basic info shows up every time I open the app, even though my data is saved and I’m not a new user.

3. As soon as I tap “analysis”, the whole app freezes. Like, unresponsive screen and the only way to get it to work again is to completely close out the app and reopen it.

I’ve never been able to make this feature work, which is really disappointing because I used it for a long time to track data before realizing this glitch. Now the data is stuck in the app and I can’t view the trends over time. I have tried reinstalling the app, going into settings and selecting only one data point to analyze, waiting and hoping it will load, etc.

If these glitches can be fixed, this app would be perfect. As it is currently though, it’s a limited and somewhat frustrating experience to use.

No all features working

Initially the app was great but lately I find I can only add info about “fluid”, but can no longer add medications or other physical symptoms so my picture is incomplete. I clicked on the link to ask for app help, but it takes me to a 404 page not found, so no help.

Very a disappointed about the latest updates that make NO sense.

I used to love this app, but lately, it has been extremely glitchy for the past few months. For example, it asks me if I want to get pregnant and for the date of my last period every time I log in, making it feel like I'm logging in for the first time. I don't remember my last period date if it's already on the calendar, so I don't understand why it's asking me again. Additionally, it seems to have my cycles very mixed up, with cycle numbers being jumbled with spotting or other cycles, failing to capture my entire menstruation cycle accurately. This is very disappointing because I love this app, but I have to consider finding another one and transferring my data, which will be a hassle.

Clunky date navigation, impossible to export

the app crashes whenever I try to share my charts. This is a KEY feature when seeking help from a healthcare provider, and that is the reason for my low rating. 2/5 stars. App has very limited utility for health without working export or share. UPDATE 7/2- export feature is working only sometimes. I’ll improve my rating to 3/5.
I am also getting glitches around symptoms. Sometimes the data entry does show all symptom entry options, forcing me to re-create as custom. The new entries appear on a different line, resulting in a cluttered chart/graph. This glitch was fixed in one update, and then broken again. This feature gets 3/5 stars, needs a permanent fix.

My other complaint is that I dislike the date selection interface in the data input tab. When I tap a particular date from the calendar view, it takes me to the data input tab, but for the date PRIOR to the date I tapped. When I am already in the data input tab, and I tap anywhere in the date scroll bar at the top, it goes back one day. Why? That makes no sense! Intuitively, tapping on a specific date should navigate to the date you tap! Some data entries (mucus observation for example) cannot be toggled off if you accidentally select the wrong symptom, or select the symptom on a wrong day (because of the weird function of the date scroll bar at the top.) This feature gets 3/5 stars.

I am also getting glitches around symptoms that I add manually. Sometimes I can see previously entered custom symptoms, and sometimes it makes me create a new entry. Then when I go to various views, the multiple entries that are supposed to be the same symptom appear on different lines, resulting in a cluttered chart/graph. This feature gets 4/5 stars.

Good app, buggy update (May 2024)

While I previously appreciated the functionality of the app and was even planning to download this for my daughter to track her cycles, the May 2024 update has caused bugs that made me second guess that decision.
Upon opening the app, you are always on the previous day, when you try to select the calendar to jump to the correct day, you will still be taken to the day before.
Data entry has also gotten unreliable because the menu doesn’t function as intuitively as it used to. Now, because of the date issue, you may be altering a previously recorded data set for a day, or, because of bugs, what you enter, may not save because you may be jumped to another date before your data fully enters.

This was a wonderful app. I have full confidence the development team can overcome the bugs and come up with a solution. It’s just a disappointment in the meantime for those of us who are using it as part of our NFP and FemmHealth tracking and not merely a period tracker.

Love this app but…

With the newest update this app for whatever reason has been bugging and glitching like crazy. It refuses to actually be on the day that is today. It’s always a day behind. No matter how many times I click on the “today” button it’s a day behind. I click on the correct day to check off my tasks or change anything and it reverts back to the previous day. I can’t go back and undo any tasks I’ve clicked on previous days anymore and when I try to click on the number days when I’m entering my observations it clicks two-three days ahead or behind, I can no longer just click on a day and it takes me to that day. It’s becoming increasingly harder to use as I have to click todays date 5 times before I can enter my observations for that day. Please fix whatever bug this is, I’m trying really hard to convince and this is so frustrating and making my journey harder.

Amazing

There’s people on here saying there’s nothing to this science and it’s just religious propaganda but I can personally tell you otherwise. I recently attended a program which helps women understand their cycle and hormones and discharge using these methods. The lady teaching it was a nurse, and explained that it’s sad how many times women come in knowing somethings wrong with their bodies or periods and just get thrown on a pill that messes with their mood, weight, and can cause lasting damage to your health all in efforts to mask the underlying problem. Learning what is normal and which hormones to expect and how to track them has given me hope that I will find out what’s going on with my body. It’s not just to help family plan, it’s literally so amazing to understand your body for yourself without a doctor brushing you aside. Women need to know more about themselves and actually be taught about our health and getting into this world of medicine has been a life changer.
