This is a really awesome game that I would recommend to anyone. What I don't like is when you have to pay to continue a new chapter. Other than that I adore this game! <3KY_KY2002
I've loved Hakuouki for so long!
I was SO STOKED to see this pop up on my Facebook! I didn't even hesitate to get it, and I have already completed Saito and Okita's routes. I don't even care how expensive it is... They can have my money. 😭😭😭 I watched the anime probably two or three years ago and it still is one of my favorites. I appreciate how while it's a love story, it is NOT the main focus of it all. In my opinion this game has a really good ratio of romance and action/story. It has a lot to offer, and I do not regret spending my money on this. Lol. One thing I'd like to address is that I didn't get the Premium package at first because I wasn't sure if I'd really play all of the routes... I want to purchase it now, and it seems I can't figure out how. The link in the app redirects you to a browser page and then that redirects you to the App Store to get the Hakuoki app... It put me in a complete circle lol. I already spent about $20 and I wish I could get the option for the premium package again 😓Show lessKikzadoo

This game is perfect. One of the best ports I have ever seen to iPad for Otome. The audio is grand and the visuals are crisp and vibrant.
It holds up to its PS3 counterpart in terms of story and quality, and is well worth the premium price for playtime and quality.
Replay value is high for the different men and options and all romances are interesting.
So in short 10/5 it's the Otome everyone is looking for when they want beauty, character, and story.Show lessSpookyGoldfish
Loved it! BUUUUUT...
I was completely enthralled from the beginning trailer. The detail and voices are phenomenal--the only problem I had was that after Ch1, we have to pay UP-FRONT $2.99 for the next three or four chapters...this is totally wrong for me. I don't accustom to put my personal card info for any Apple apps for justified fears and the fact that the Premium Version costs what...? $27.99--I think--is ridiculous. I love this anime--but no way would I pay that much for an app. Sorry. I give it 4 stars.Show lessDemonhybrid13

This is probably one of the best dating game apps I've ever played. The artwork, beautiful. The voices--I'm actually just glad I get to hear them (I love the Japanese language <3).
The one thing that made me utterly depressed was when I was done with the prologue. It offered the in-app purchase, and I was like, "Oh..." and because I can't pay for it myself, I guess I'll just wait or something. It's a bit awkward asking your parents to buy you more chapters on a dating game.
Oh well, overall, this game is beautiful, and I hope it stays that way if I'm able to buy the next few chapters or so. If you're ready to pay to get more chapters, it's worth it, even though I haven't even seen it myself.Show lessSeraphim Has Many Cookies

The Art is Amazing
I really love the artwork. The story line is engaging. The only down side...most of the romances are very slow to start. That and for some reason I seem to cry a lot. ;) I hope to see more. Wouldn't mind seeing a line for Shiranui.

Yes finally. One of the best otome games. This version is great because it comes at a deal price compared to the free version. Hopefully more otomate games will be translated and/or released to the iso store, im looking forward to it! 😍😍😍
