It a tragedy the developer abandoned this app because even with years of neglect it is still at the top of the list for quality readers. I’m glad it’s at least still in the App Store.

Sad they have not updated this in a few years one of the best Feedly clients out there really wish they would updated with stuff like Dark mode, bug fixes, widgets and more but for right now I am just glad it still works hints the 3 stars!Underratedtoxic12
A great offline reader
I've been using Byline since the original version. I use it so I can read my Feedly feeds offline while on the subway or plane and this app is perfect in both of those situations. It's even better on the iPad than on the phone even though the phone is good too. Given how much I use it, it's more than worth the cost.spudWorks78
Best RSS reader for iOS
My favorite thing about this reader is the ability to navigate a large list of articles by swiping left and right. This update finally modernized one my my all time iOS apps for iPhone X. Thanks phantom fish!-J-a-x-
UI is nice - author squandered good will
I've tried all the other RSS readers and keep coming back to Byline - it works well with the way I like to read feeds.
However it's time to move to something else....
The author had squandered so much good will by (a) forcing people to buy a brand new version just so it works on iOS 10 and (b) completely ignoring any and all requests for customer support.
A golden opportunity missed just for some short term profit.
Of course, the author will likely never read this and even if they do, won't care but maybe it'll highlight the inadequacies to those that follow.CallumPrentice
Syncing way too slow
My trusty 3rd generation iPad is next useless with Byline 5. It took 7 minutes for it to sync today with a sync that only resulted in 2 new documents. I will be reverting to to the old Byline, as 3rd Gen iPads don't run iOS 10.
Byline 5 works better on my iPhone 6s, but is prone to periodic freezes when it initiates a sync. I wish I could revert to the previous Byline, but it won't work with iOS 10.
Bottom line: looking for other readers that allow off line reading.westcrester
A fantastic app, but 5.0.2 has some kinks
I've been using byline for ages and it really does the job. It's a great way to read feedly feeds offline. BUT, with the new version, I can't make it save my feeds for offline reading at all, which makes it completely useless to me. Hopefully this gets sorted out!Neverclip
