Stopped working
I’ve had this app for a few years and suddenly it stopped showing my friends online. It just stopped working. Garbage.hazeleyedsiren
Be up front.
If there are additional costs involved it should be disclosed up front before the initial sale. The app so far as I could get with it worked. But I do not want to pay to make what load for to work as it was expected to in the first place.jbjgfhfgjg

The app does what its name implies, e.g. it will notify you when your friends get online or offline. There are some limits about what we can mention in the app description on the App Store. The initial description did mention the server for purchase in Second Life but it was rejected by Apple because it was something sold outside the App Store. However, our web page for the app clearly mentions that there is an additional cost to get all the functionalities. However, as stated above, the app as sold will perform as it is advertised, e.g. notifies you when a friend comes online or goes offline.Amazing product 🏆

This is a scam
You have to purchase a 500 Linden URL from second life marketplace and own your on land to be able to use the app which it states nowhere in this apps description, you can either send me my money back or I can open a case against you with the Better Business Bureau false advertisement at its finest.Show lessMelssa Magnolia

You don't need a land to use the app. The app simply notifies you when your friends come online or go offline. The land is required if you decide to get the additional features, which require the purchase of our SL Notifier Server available from our store or the marketplace. However, the app as purchased on the App Store will perform its advertised functionality, which is to notify you, hence the name "SL Notifier".No luck
Still unworkable garbage as of 3/19... impossible to chat or to because lack of server info. Don’t bother!!
1...does not allow chat though there is a chat button. Does not work.
2...difficult to log onto...tried MANY times
3...not intuitive! Just what is the url it asks for in the settings?
4...Why was the Meta app removed from the store? So those with the new iOS could not us SL

Friends’ List Checker - counts for something!
I use this app to see who is online from my friends’ list. People I wanna hang out with? Good, I can log in via my Firestorm viewer on the laptop. Nobody interesting? I just saved time by not logging in and dealing with IMs from people I’m not in the mood to talk to.
As long as you don’t care about any of the other things advertised, then it works like a charm. It would be nice to see who’s in range, but it doesn’t do that for me. It’s also be nice to IM friends like the old MetaVerse app used to, but the app crashes if I try. Not sure if it works if you own land cause I don’t, so read other reviews for that.

I JUST downloaded this and it doesn’t work. I want my money back. It asks for a URL when you LOGIN! Isn’t that the point of logging in? SL is a joke. Apple, you’re a joke for approving this piece of garbage app. I have read your comments. I bought with L500 and don’t know how to get my URL. Even though it says their customer support is open 24/7 (I have a screen shot) they aren’t open! How do I get my URL!? Now I cannot login to this app with my SL credentials. No, it doesn't. SL Notifier is NOT a Second Life viewer.Misleading
Harsh review but this is not worth the money. You can’t even talk to friends in world. It would be nice if the developer put in the work to make this a effective app. Basically this is simply to check if your friends are online and that’s it.
