Not worth the cost of the umbrella

When the code on my umbrella didn’t work I tried the “contact us” option on the website only to find it blank. No number, no email form, no chat. I paid a little more for a smart umbrella but without being able to use the feature I could’ve gotten a much much cheaper one. Wouldn’t recommend. 2 stars because the umbrella seems sturdy.

Please contact developer@aaainnovations.com. We'll be happy to help resolve any issues with the app

Dear app idea people/folks

Just because some office personnel has this crazy idea about an app that tells you when you’ll melt, doesn’t mean you should actually make said app. Especially when the app is broken. Also the umbrella broke after first use on a February day in Texas.

Response from developer

We would be happy to replace the umbrella at no cost. Please contact developer@aaainnovations.com

Reminder even on sunny days...

Thought it was a cool idea, but it told me to bring my umbrella, even on sunny days. Very inaccurate. Better to just watch the weather on the morning news!

Response from developer

The app is designed to remind you to take your umbrella when there is a high chance of rain. High chance doesn't always mean it will or won't rain. You're correct weather on the morning news is more accurate

Not helpful when I have already left the house

The app reminds me when I’m almost at work and says, It’s going to be a beautiful rainy day don’t forget your umbrella! TOO LATE. Also the percentage threshold can only be lowered to 60% chance. It would be nice to see a broader range to work with.

Response from developer

We appreciate your feedback. You can now adjust the percentages to as low as 5% and as high as 100%

Love it

Downloads easily. Great promo item

Won’t open

Downloaded app but when you open just keeps saying loading data.

Response from developer

Our apologies. We had some compatibility issues with some of phone models. These issues have been resolved

Doesn't really work

Couldn't find my location and didn't accept any zip code I entered. I got stuck without an umbrella this morning because I didn't get a notification either.

Response from developer

The app asks you to Enable Location Services. It doesn't require you to enter a zip code. If you Enable Location services, you will get an alert when there is a high chance of rain
