Thank you for your feedback. Starting from iOS 14.5, the application asks for permission before tracking your activity. If you see a request to track your activity, you can tap Allow or Ask App Not to Track. You can still use the full capabilities of the app, regardless of whether you allow the app to track your activity. You can check or change this option on your iPhone (Settings » Privacy» Tracking). All privacy issues are regulated by our Privacy Policy https://www.abbyy.com/privacy/ and End-User License Agreement https://pdf.abbyy.com/finereader-ios/eula/. Original 5 star review - 2019 I’ve been using FineScannerPRO for a few years now and it just keeps getting better! Scanning is simple with the iPad or iPhone and OCR is very accurate. I’ve been using it to recognize text in both English and Spanish, both of which work great. The new page area recognition features make it easier than ever to scan pages with little or no manual adjustments. Recognized documents can be downloaded in several useful file formats including MS Word, RTF, and plain text. I now do all my scanning and OCR on my iPad instead of my dedicated scanner. It is just so much faster and easier. You can also make a “photocopy” of any document just by printing the result of your scan. I would highly recommend this app!

Thank you for the feedback! The ABBYY FineReader PDF for iOS is still shipping, supported, and available, however, there have been some functional adjustments. We've made some changes to our functionality, including updates to our list of export formats and OCR languages, along with discontinuing the BookScan feature.
