Wonderful app, small suggestions

1. A tutorial section with basic instructions and features would help so much, and would increase accessibility. Maybe it’s just me but I find it kind of hard to use sometimes.
2. Can you add a stopwatch feature and a way to save specific tasks with notes? I need to change my morning routine daily depending on what’s going on, so being able to find the average amount of time it takes to complete a task and a way to save those tasks so I can pre-build a routine before bed would be IDEAL. I would be able to sleep so much better knowing that I have a plan.

Buggy lately

Quite good, although lately one of my routines (I use it for myself) is completely buggy and keeps saying I’m late for my routine. No matter how many times I try to reset it. Makes the app completely unusable. I think my other routines are unaffected so maybe I’ll just have to make a new one.

also one of the biggest drawbacks is that the sound and the app completely interrupts and takes over my audio, so I have to go back and forth between the app and the podcast or audiobook and restart it every time there is a new task. Can you make it so i still hear the bell, but my other audio apps aren’t disrupted? As ADHDers we need something to listen to to make the mundane tasks less boring.

Fantastic

This is the best app I have ever used and couldn’t have designed it better myself! As a mum of a 12 year old with Autism and who works with primary school aged children with SEND, visual timetables and sand timers are staple throughout my day - and keeping up with making different parts to suit all eventualities/replace lost pictures/ bespoke pictures is always an issue. To be able to snap a picture and upload it is brilliant. The independence the app encourages is a key benefit. The supporting information provided is really going to help parents new to this kind of system.

I have recommended this app to my school and to my sons school, and all the parents I can reach! It’s a game changer. Clearly produced by someone who understands needs associated with autism!

Atrociously priced

Has such potential, but for the price I have to keep looking for an alternative. $10.49 a month is just simply too much, and the longer timeframes are still too costly. Even if it can do a lot more than just a visual timer, $5-$10.50 a month is out of touch for what a lot of families can realistically afford for electronic supports. I loved the trial period, but sadly I can’t afford to subscribe.

Child View

Everything starts out great. Setting up routines is easy and flexible. There are many good options. It would be great if the app had routines and simple chores. Could use a little
More flexibility in assigning points per task. Also, each routine can only be assigned to one child. You need to duplicate for another. Not great if you want to make a change because you have to do it 2 or 3 times.

It isn’t until you get to the Child’s view when thing become difficult. It’s clunky to get the child into a routine. Once in it’s pretty good but everything else isn’t. Managing rewards/stars has very little flexibility. The app is half way there but for the price not worth it in the current form.

Hi Mike, thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear that you value the options we have built into the app and actually, we do offer routine templates and different amount of stars that can be earned per completed task. We'll make note of your other suggestions and see how we can improve these in the future. Best wishes -- Your Brili Team

Sad I can no longer promote this app

Unfortunately I can no longer promote this App in my public speaking or at my schools, because it is no longer at all accessible to my lower income families. I promoted it widely when families could access at least one free routine, but now one free month just means they know what they cannot afford to have, which is really sad. And the price is extremely steep, given that it’s subscription based. You can outright buy most Apps for less. I am really sad to see such a great App out of reach for so many ADHD families. I am sad they chose to join the greedy corporations who have moved to a subscription approach which was developed to force people to spend more for the same products.

For those with the funds, this is certainly an excellent App - most of all the fact that the time allocated to each task automatically adjusts based on the end time, so if your child is slow or starts late they can be moved through the routine at a quicker pace.

Hi there and thanks for your feedback and support. We're asking for a subscription to maintain and improve the app while keeping it ad free and your data safe. We hope for your understanding that this is the only way for us to offer such a service because we're a small and dedicated team of mostly volunteers who try to make a difference for the ADHD community. That being said, we always have an open ear for those in need but cannot offer the app entirely free of charge, unfortunately. Best wishes -- Your Brili Team

No more nagging!!

This app is great for motivating my kids (8&9) to get moving! Mornings we're out the door with time to spare, also streamlines the time after school to dinner, homework isn't a chore but a step to attaining their rewards. Custom routine set up takes time but allows you to tailor it to each individual child's needs. Easy enough to use on their own, although I wish that the routine steps were interchangeable for completion. The subscription fee is worth the reduced nagging time!

Can’t even get support

We were really excited about the possibilities of this app, but upon installation and going in to set up routines, I can’t even see the graphic images to have my child check them off. I tried accessing support, but you have to login or sign up with them to even submit a ticket. Okay, did that, where it asked for my name and email (note: no spot to create a password on this screen). I tried going back into the app and to my settings, clicking on the “change password” there. Entered my old password and created a new one... nothing on the screen changes. Try clicking on ANYTHING else on the screen and nothing happens. I can’t even TALK TO THE SUPPORT TEAM to tell them anything is wrong because there’s no way for me to reach them either via the app or on the website despite having an account. At least it was a free trial!

Good app but needs work

This was helping my nieces learn routines and time management. Unfortunately it’s a very restricted platform. For example there’s no way to leave an activity unswiped (because there is always some variety to any schedule-at least a good one), or to select it as “not doing today” the rewards page only allows you to allot “free time” but sit specific things like “choice 1/2 hr of tv time” there’s no customization allowed. There’s no overall chart to see how things are progressing you have to sign in and look at each child-very clunky and not especially user friendly. Overall it has a good base concept but I would never consider paying $8.99 a month for it with these restrictions.

Hello and thank you for your feedback! Younger children often have more strict routines from our experience and for older children and adults we're offering more flexibility in our new Brili app for adults. In the kids app, you can actually choose how to spend your free time when finishing early. And you can grant individual rewards for a defined number of stars that were collected. Best wishes -- Your Brili Team

After 2 routines the app gets 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t have to micromanage or nag, and my child gets empowered ... to independence, and a sense of control over their own personhood and time.

Frustration disappears, and the guilt that goes along with it after sending them out the door or getting them to sleep at night 🥴 💚
