Hi Joon Families, We've listened to all the pain points that were introduced with the introduction of the Me Tab and the clean up of the Quest Board. We've got a few fun things for you here: 1. The Quest Board has a new layout, which will make it much easier to filter your Quest Board by child and by routine. 2. We've removed the review tab on the Quest Board and replaced it with a much better bulk review flow. 3. You can now re-assign Quests to another child from the Quest details page. Please keep sending us your feedback! Your reviews always help inform us where we take the app. Best, The Joon Team

Description of Joon

1) Constantly nagging and arguing with your child? 2) Is your child not motivated to complete their daily tasks? 3) Does your child struggle to remember and stick to their daily routine? If you answered "YES" to at least one of these, then Joon is exactly what you are looking for! Recommended by Child Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Pediatricians, and Special Education Teachers, Joon is the future of motivating neurodivergent children. Using a child-friendly video game (for ages 6-12), Joon helps motivate your child to focus and stay on top of their daily routine, tasks, & habits. **JOON’S GOAL** Help motivate your child with ADHD, ASD, ODD, General Anxiety, or Depression to focus and complete their daily tasks while learning basic responsibility and independence. Not only does Joon make it extremely easy to motivate kids to do important tasks using a video game, but it also teaches them valuable life skills that they won’t be able to learn in school. We’ve helped over two hundred thousand families complete more than 1M+ tasks, so why can't we help you? **HOW IT WORKS** Assign tasks as "Quests", then the video game does the rest. 1) Create a few tasks that your child struggles with the most (such as brushing their teeth, getting ready for school, etc.) 2) Your child chooses a virtual pet (called a Doter) to feed, wash, and grow. In order to take care of their pet and play the Joon video game, they must first complete the tasks you've assigned them. 3) Once completed, you will get a notification to review and approve/reject your child's completed tasks. If approved, your child will receive coins to use to care for their pet and unlock different parts of the video game! 4) As your child completes more and more tasks, they will develop habits and improve their daily routine - all because they want to play a video game! **THE PARENTING TOOL YOU NEED** + We make it easy to manage your child’s tasks and add in your existing routine. + We'll do the reminding to help your child stick to their routine. No more nagging from your end. + Your child will stay motivated to do the tasks assigned to them. In fact, 90% of kids on Joon complete all tasks assigned. + Choose from a large list of research-backed activities to help your child build important life skills that teach independence. Joon is only a year old and already has the attention of press, parenting publications, and parenting experts. To see the complete list, visit our website here: https://joonapp.io **HOW TO GET STARTED** 1) Install Joon on your device, create your family, and select a few beginning tasks you’d like your child to work on. 2) Help your child set up their account so they can see the tasks that you’ve assigned them. You can have them download Joon on their own device or share you phone. 3) Once your child completes their tasks, you can review and approve them to make sure they were completed correctly. 4) Once approved, your children receive coins and experience points that let them feed, level up, buy things, and progress in the game with their virtual pet. As your child continues to progress in the game, they actually progress in real life too! 5) Keep adding quests (and we’ll recommend you new ones too) to help your children develop good habits! Your children cannot grow on their own. Make sure to stay involved in the process and keep assigning new quests as needed to allow your children to continue helping, learning, growing, and progressing in the game. **QUESTIONS?** Email us at contact@joonapp.io! • Interactive Change In Behavior!

My kids were being lazy after school got out for the summer so I downloaded the app. They seemed interested so I did the trial and set up some mandatory quests (brush teeth, brush hair, eat a decent lunch, clean up after yourself, ect.). By day 3 they were asking for more quests to be added! My 13yo son after a long day said “Oh! Yay! I get to unload the dishwasher when we get home!”. WHAT?! 🤣 It’s Amazing. I recommend the app to everyone I know. It is pricey for what it is but I was desperate and tired of coming home to lazy, grumpy kids, & a house more cluttered than I left it! There are some days when we slack on our quests but only after super slam packed weekends when we are unmanageably exhausted and that’s okay! Just remember to get back in track so you don’t waste your money. The 7 day trial is auto set to a yearly subscription after so be aware or be surprised as I was. That’s really my only complaint so far & hopefully it’s my only. We’ve had the app for a short while now so I hope we can keep it up.

  • Seeking dopamine through fights has changed to doing as much routine as possible to be able to play

As anyone know with a child with ADHD/ audhd/ odd ect. You find something that works a little and it doesn’t work for long. This is working so amazing and I’m praying because of all the dopamine rushes it remains working. My child was on a low point, none of our previous tactics were even slightly working. It was the worst I’ve experienced thus far. I went searching for any help and I found this app and the watchminder. The watch helps remind her to check the app and do her routine. And this App makes her want to do them and enjoy doing them in her own so I’m not constantly reminding her or asking her to do them. Keeping her morning routine is the only thing that sets her up for a good day. And this app makes her want to. Being able to care for the animals is great, but the games she gets to play with them are also geared towards her brain and struggles and gives her so many dopamine rushes, she’s stopped doing wrong to try to find it in my reactions. I am crazy grateful for this app. It glitches on occasion, but what doesn’t.

  • Great app to help kids focus

I decided to try the 1 week trial before looking at another option and I’m glad I did. It’s exactly what we need right now for our AuDHD kiddo and the price of the yearly subscription isn’t even as much as we pay for one therapy appointment. I appreciate that it doesn’t have a really involved game that will leave the kid stuck on the screen and hard to take away. There are plenty of games out there for that. My kid is just happy making sure all his pet’s levels are full and collecting as many coins as he can by doing the tasks we assign him. He can then use his coins to buy screen time for his other more involved iPad games. I’m so glad that the pet doesn’t die even if it hasn’t been fed for a while. I was so relieved when I learned that because my son like many others would be so upset. I also like that you can see other players’ characters but not talk to them since I don’t want him talking to strangers, but he loves seeing what other stuff he can get once he levels up. The app functions great without any syncing issues even being on multiple parents’ and kids’ devices. I’ve made a couple requests through the support form and the developers have responded to both. Really rare these days!
