Fix Your Stream
BallerTV has been around long enough, but how do they still have the same streaming issues? I have not been able to watch even half of a game due to “streaming issues”. It does not matter where the tournament is held, how reliable your wifi is, or even if you’re using cellular data, the stream will stop working and you’ll get the “we’re working to resolve the issue” message but nothing ever changes. BallerTV is used way too often to still have these issues. How do people still think this is a good app to watch games?

Good for recruiting/reviewing, Bad for Watching Live
Here are my concerns: 1) Every game I've watched had the live broadcast end before the game ended. 2) The camera feed is a basic, one camera feed with a wide-angle view. Just a game camera in the room. 3) Camera often misses the action/play of the game. I can't tell if it's an automated camera or very bad operators. 4) Scores/Data and are often wrong, missing, or not updated. 4) Customer service has not solved problems after a year of contacts.
Seems like BallerTV subscriptions are not for the viewer who wants to watch live sports broadcasts as they watch other sports. It is a very basic tool that documents games for reference purposes. This may be useful for recruiters or players/teams/families wanting to use footage for recruiting purposes or skill tracking.
It would be helpful for BallerTV to clarify its purposes, what it is and what it isn't, so customers can accurately calculate the return on investment.
Depending on which kind of customer you are this may be a very poor investment or a valuable investment. For me it was an expensive and poor use of money.

Feels like a scam
Had to buy an auto-renewing 3 month option to watch one tournament. Score is often inaccurate and it doesn’t show when using AirPlay. Video often didn’t follow the play, it would just randomly during play switch to the other end of the court where there was no action. Didn’t cover the full court. No idea how much time is left in the game. Disappointed given the cost.

Poor quality and customer service
It seems every tournament I have to contact customer service to rectify an issue. Most recently I was charged an event credit daily for the same event and missed portions of the last tournament of the season to fix the problems.
Customer service was satisfied that they were able to solve it in a “timely” manner but I wanted compensation for my time after countless issues. They refused and insisted I got what I paid for. I missed a significant portion of my child’s last game of the season attempting to resolve their system error.

Have to pay $95 just to only be able to watch 1 tournament per month!?
If I were able to give this app zero, I would. I’m just trying to watch my teamates play in AAU’s but I have to pay for literally everything?? I would be fine if it were like 15 dollars per month but why would I have to pay for 3 months straight up? And the premiums aren’t even that good! Yes, make me pay $95 just to watch one game. Makes sense.

Great concept, horrible execution!
Buyer Beware! This app has great potential but at its very high subscription price it has way too many problems. At least half of my sons games this season had incomplete recordings or no recording at all. The token system for watching games is non transparent as it doesn’t give you any idea when your tokens renew, or what have you used them on. Customer service is never helpful. I will not be renewing my annual subscription next year, it’s unfortunate this great idea is being executed so poorly.

Worst app
Literally the worst app i have ever used. It would take a full day to list the issues we had. And we paid for GOLD. Waste of money and time.
Lousy feed
So great to see my kid for sure! But the feed was lousy. It cut at halftime but it actually wasn’t halftime yet. Didn’t get to watch the last few minutes of the game. SOOO Frustrating. Is it worth the money absolutely not.
Quick cancellation
I have 3 kids that play AAU so I purchased a quarterly subscription to BallerTV because we have conflicts and I cannot be at all the kids games at the same time. Figured I could attend the tournaments without live streams and watch BallerTV for the other games. I cancelled after 2 tournaments. First tournament BallerTV was at only had 2 of the 4 games he played in. The games were listed, but when you clicked on the game it was totally different teams playing. The 2 games where his team were on the stream only had about 50-60% of the game.
The second tournament I went to watch and it required me to purchase an “event pass” for an additional $20 and the subscription I was paying for apparently didn’t cover that U12 local tournament. No one at support could explain the event pass and why my subscription would not allow me to watch the event. They sent me a link explaining event passes are an NCAA requirement for NCAA coaches to view events. I told the person I am a parent trying to watch my 12 year old play…
Seems like a money grab without an actual product that works.

No video no replay no support
I only subscribed to watch my daughters tournament. Not only did the live stream not work, but they failed to capture the game all together so also no reply. Support was slow and ultimately not helpful. The issue wasn’t resolved.
This is the year’s biggest volleyball tournament, no excuse for not making sure their system was working. Although it’s a girls tournament so perhaps just not a priority.
