It’s doing its job considering the lack of infrared.
Simple, yet effective
All it does (from my experience) is brighten the darker spots and increase the contrast and it does it REALLY well. I can walk around my house at night!

Best night vision app available!!
Throughout different times I have gotten a new phone, I’ve always made sure to have this app as a mainstay for my photo taking adventures. It can always be disappointing when it’s late at night and you want to capture something and have minimal light. Night Eyes does an Amazing job at illuminating the dark spaces and giving a quality of film that is very realistic and accurate when considering night vision quality. I currently have a Apple iPhone 14 and I would safely say that this app excels in capturing a better quality photo when it comes to needing night vision.
Any time I’ve shown it to other people , they always want to know which app it is and go to download it immediately!!

Avoid
If you think this is going to be almost as good as a proper night vision camera, think again. Save you money and buy the real thing!! It’s a toy and that’s all

Love the app great for when your out and about in the car at night I’m forever having things fall out my pockets and down the seats lighter money keys the app works perfectly in the low light 🤓

Missing features to truly be the best or to even compete with budget digital night vision.
VR stereoscopic view mode so that putting them on a iPhone VR goggles like goggle cardboard can replicate digital nightvision dual tubes.
60fps 90fps and 120 FPS settings (I’m aware that it may compromise the low light view but if it’s possible to do it will be amazing).
Also to make it be able to flip which iPhone sides so which ever camera it’s being viewed on can be switched from left or right side of the camera.
Have a 1X view or a wide like panoramic view if possible.
Flash light to be able to be turned on and off. (So that applying a red filter over the led flash light can pretend to be like ir.)
App to be rapidly back continued to be used if the app ever switched or returned to Home Screen.
