Great game.....minor glitches
One of the best I've played in this genre! Good puzzles, artwork, longer than a lot of others. Also kind of like that there's no spoken dialogue....faster to read dialogue than listen to it:). Couple of minor glitches: problem entering name, map show actions in rooms where hint just tells you to move to another room. Very enjoyable game overall.

Liked it-first effort?
Is Vendel a new developer? Haven't seen their name before this game. Game was interesting with wonderful graphics and a good story line. Linear and carefully plotted-you are looking for missing descendants of an evil lord in a cursed castle. Really varied and interesting HOS, games, tasks & puzzles. Not a huge fan of finding objects to get more hints-think those should be a given for we lazy players. Don't let the name glitch deter you at the first-when has it ever really mattered what is put in that box? Thought it was very well done-glad to see a new name in the developer category. Looking forward to see what Vendel comes up with next!

Only a few glitches
Fun game of nice length. Some puzzles challenging, others easier which is nice. Don't have to bounce around; map works nicely, especially like the picture reference. Love that HOS had variety and a multifunctional approach; far less boring than stabbing at a scene. They made you think. Liked the pick up then punch to place; far better than dragging. Problem with player name and a few pick ups in HOS. Didn't like that name of objects were under my finger when I tried to read them. Please put them higher. Thanks for a really good game!

Fun and intriguing 5โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
Yay a game that does not have stop points to ask for a rating! On the main screen there was a lag for name entry. Dont let that fool you as the game itself is excellent so far. A coherant storyline that makes sense. Fun HOPs to keep things interesting. Please note 'lightly tap HOPs' the result is the games commands better..and thats fine by me, who needs sore fingers by the end of a game. Highly recommend!!๐

First impressions.
Had major problems entering a name as it would freeze upon typing a name, had to close game & restart several times before I could complete entering my name.
First impressions game-wise are good but have only just begun.

Spirit of Revenge
Glitches in the very first part of trial. Doesn't want to except name, also problems with picking up items - unresponsive. Still trying to get through it - looks like it could be a good game, but definitely needs some fixes. Will update later as I try to progress.
Map is not accurate in where something needs to be done.
Was this game not tested before release?

Great game
I agree with the other review minus one star for difficulty entering your name. I thought well this is a bad beginning, but I was wrong. It is difficult without being overly difficult. The mini games are fun and I find myself making an effort to finish them...the hidden objects are also fun and well
thought out. Over all an excellent game and worth playing

Curses! Foiled Again!
Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle places you as a female detective who has been sent to determine whether the Flatsbury Castle is really cursed, or whether someone is merely trying to discourage visitors. You meet little Jessie, the daughter, who has been traumatized by the fiery ghosts of the castle. You must decode the secrets of the castle, including the possible murder of the architect, who was in love with the owner's daughter. There are moving gargoyles, dolls that catch on fire, and vanishing werewolves. What more could one ask? The game contains some good features, like a Hint and Skip button, a Diary, and a Transporting Map. You even log on to the laptop of the tutor to see what she thought about Jessie. There are Morphing Objects to identify and collect. The Hidden Object puzzles are the mix of regular and shadow images. I enjoyed all that, but had some difficulty creating a name in the Player Profile! Tried it three times, and finally played anonymously! Do not let that stop you, though. From the sample game so far, I intend to purchase this one, and hope there will be more from this company. Happy Cursing, Castle fans!
