As with most expensive apps, this one is well worth the money. Extensive graphics allow you to simulate all kinds of geologic processes; like mountain building, erosion, volcanoes, flooding, beach formation, and so on. A fun way to learn basic geology.Docarth

The best feature is the "sandbox," which lets you manipulate a piece of earth and ocean; you can raise mountains, bring rivers and glaciers to the sea, shift global temperatures and watch as plateaus desertify or rainforests move to the coast. A new kind of book!
Wow. This is so cool! I read about this App on Wired and decided to check it out. Well, I've never had an interest in geology, honestly, but learning about Earth by playing with simulated, volcanoes, mountains, dunes and glaciers is so cool that I'm learning about geology simply because Earth Primer so fun.. This app is frustrating. I like the idea but I cannot get past the second slide. There are no directions. I am a science teacher and would like to use this in my class but it is not user friendly therefore, I will not be using it.Xxxxxikl

Sorry you found the app confusing. The book is divided into chapters and you need to complete the prior chapters to unlock the next one. The locked pages say this, and each page explains what you need to do in order to proceed. If you contact my support email with the page you got stuck on I am happy to offer more specific advice.Great!
