As a geologist, this "game" is nearly a substitute for geology 101. I can't believe how realistic it is. What a huge jumpstart to understanding earth processes. Well done. Earth Primer is so stunningly powerful that it makes extraordinary complexity seem like a game. In fact, the intuitions generated by the experiences in this Earth Primer effortlessly jump the reader through a tremendous amount of content without the reader ever rendering learning at all. This is the future of learning. And it is a difficult and expensive future. And the author has brought it to us in this wonderful work of soul, heart, thought, rigor, cleverness and attention to detail. Tour de force. An expensive disappointment
If I hadn't paid so much for it, I would be more enthusiastic. Once you get the "hang of" how it works, it is a teaching tool. But in the end, it feels more like a rudimentary game. Just a sprinkling of aliens or dinosaurs is all it lacks.Addie tucker

I saw an ad for this and it looked really interesting. I usually do not purchase apps so I figured I would make an exception this one time. It was simplistic and not engaging in the least. Do not bother with this one.... It is boring.Randy98745
Needs a bit more...
I was hoping this had hurricanes and twisters as well as earthquakes for the sandbox aspect. Also a time speed option would be nice :)
Overall I would say this is app is 6.5 out of 10.
