  • Dudes This is an Amazing App

I downloaded it just to test out the generous number of free lessons. By the time I finished those I had to buy the full version. I can't believe this app exists. It is so much fun to use it hardly feels like learning. It is so well produced and very thorough. The progressive challenges are fun, and I really like the "on your own" segments. I can't wait to dive into the lesson pack for the Z3TA+. Thanks for making this!

  • If you want to learn synthesis

Buy this application. Not only is this a great learning tool, the developer is incredibly generous with updates and is very responsive.
  • Great app and service

Great app with even better customer service. My kids are having a ball. Would like to see colour schemes of knobs changed - when a mistake was made, and the app shows in green what the correct settings were, its really hard to see where knobs are turned to.
  • Best investment i made this year

This in my own opinion is one of the best apps to have to learn about synths properly. Since on-barking on this Syntorial app i Have gained better understanding and knowledge of what and why I'm programming. No more guessing if its right or wrong.
  • Buy it; seriously!

This is an amazing app. If you've ever wanted to learn how synths work, but tutorials were too boring and complicated, then this is the way! After this tutorial course, you will be able to create synth sounds and patches. No more relying on presets. You will figure out how a synth sound you've heard in music is made. Try the demo, you'll see.

  • That's it!

If you want to learn synth sound design from the bottom up with all knobs and functions, recognize and recreate the coolest sounds, this is the app for you.
I tried different books and watched I don't know how many instructional videos, but never got much further than what already figured out on my own. Sometimes, I even got more confused with the over theoretical explanations that did not help me sound better.
This app is the real deal because it is a series of progressive exercises dealing with all options generally available on old analog, digital and computer synthesizers.

An absolute must for all aspiring producers and sounds fanatics!

  • Great for classical musos

The great value in this course is it teaches us how to listen IN to a sound so we get an insight as to the nature of sound itself, how it starts, propagates and ends (ASDR). Also we learn how the balance of harmonics above a fundamental influences the quality of a sound.
I'm a classical pianist, and even after working diligently through the free tutes I find I'm listening much more intently to my sounds when practising - have now purchased full course though, and its totally worth it.
In the sixties, my class at the Melbourne con was introduced to early synths (patch cords, no keyboards, cutting and splicing actual magnetic tape), but I didn't really 'get' it. This course makes it all clear. One does need to persist at it of course.

  • Wow!

I brought this to teach synthesis to my students at school as well as to better understand my Prophet 6.
    Amazing ear training!
  • Addictive learning

What I thought was 10 minutes has turned out to be an hour. What makes this a success is that once you start, you can carry on absorbing information for hours. What's more is it's all very transferable to your own instruments. Really excellent app. Well worth paying for the full course.
