  • I avoided urgent care because of the iOX!!!

Since the company came out with the newest updated version I have loved it. I used it with my teladoc and was able to avoid going to urgent care because of it!
  • Does not work with iOS

I tried every help and review suggestion, on both my iPhone and iPad. It does not work. I got the same “Initializing” spinner and the “Low power” message. I’ve tried 4 different ways to contact the company, with no response. Luckily, I have a cheap Android phone, and it DOES work on that. Sad for Apple users.

  • New iPhone connectivity - excellent customer support

I had the issue previously reported on connectivity with new iPhones. Emailed the developer to the address on the website and received an answer in less than 24 hours suggesting to “restart your phone and do not open any other audio apps such as spotify or podcast. If that doesn't work, try to look at permission to see if the microphone permission is enabled. The signal comes back to the phone via the microphone input.” It worked!

  • Usd to work

At one time this device matched the pulse ox my Dr used but I recently got a new iPhone and have to use the mfi lightning to phono jack adapter and now only get a “power input too low...” error which appears others have reported. It appears useless at this point unless the author updates to software to fix this.

  • Dead on arrival - ZERO customer service

I have an iPhone 6 plus. Ordered the iox so I could monitor oxygen levels while asleep. Iox arrived, I downloaded app, plugged into headphone jack on my iphone. NOTHING. The app kept telling me to plug device in. I followed troubleshooting steps on Safe Heart website. Still nothing. Called telephone # on website. Recording came on stating no one was at the extension I dialed then it hung up. Emailed using email form on website asking for help. 2 weeks later no reply. Guess I’ll dispute the charge on my credit card. DON’T WASTE MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT OR THESE PEOPLE. Appears to be a scam.

  • Zero stars!! Does not function!

I just spent $45 on a device with an app that closes immediately every time I open it! It can’t be used without the app! This is CRIMINAL!
  • Doesn’t even open

The app doesn’t even open, it just crashes.
  • Doesn’t Work

The app opens and closes immediately. I also tried to put this app on an iPad but there isn’t one available.
  • Buggy

The app on an iPhone doesn't let you tap the Hr , Pi, or respiration icon like it say. And offers no explanation or guide to your readings. I probably would not have purchased to device knowing the app doesn't work
  • Broken by update? Developer unresponsive

The device and the app both worked well when I first tried them, but when I started the app recently after a stretch of not using it, it showed the message "Power input too low. Please contact our sales." I tried to contact sales, but they have been unresponsive. Other reviews here report the same problem. My guess is the app was broken by an update and never fixed (either an app update or an iOS update). This is too bad, because while the app worked I was quite pleased with it. I'm not aware of another affordable consumer grade pulse oximeter that can record measurements all night long.
