  • SOOOOO SLOW

This is the most excruciatingly slow evolution game I’ve ever played. Coins come from plants and take a really long time to accumulate, even if u max plants. Max plants usually take 20 mins to recharge for enough coins to feed one fish per plant every 20 mins. Ya buy eggs and feed each 5x, but u can’t just buy the eggs u need. Ya have to find randomly acquired items from breeding previous types of fish. Clicking the missing item tells u an odds of 1-15%, depending on fish type, that you’ll get that piece from growing those fish that u need to lay an egg of in a new set. It just adds even more frustration to the game. Then come jellyfish, which cost about 200 coins to feed each of 5x, all while earning the same 100 coins every 20 mins. I tried to love this, but the amount of time…I just hit plants, feed 2 jellyfish, and come back in about half hour or more. It’s excruciatingly slow!

  • Bully fish

My mom and I have been playing this game for a long time together and we both absolutely love it!! The only thing… could you PLEASE for the love of every good thing under the sun STOP MAKING ALL THE NEW EVENT TYPE FISH BULLIES?! I’m getting so tired of having to search for my other fish because they’re constantly getting scared away from the food pot!!! This is supposed to be a fun and relaxing game away from all that! Pick different fish to add if you’re just totally into making the real life fish behavior because it’s starting to get on my nerves a lot how mean every single new fish has been for MONTHS. Please do something nicer next time!😓🥺

  • great ad to game ratio

i’ve only had the game downloaded for about two days and am so far loving it. i like that your able to watch ads when YOU need to. there’s no pop up ads which is great bc then i don’t rage out and close the game. (too many games these days are ad after ad after ad…) it’s easy enough to feed my fish, and i’m enjoying the graphics of the game. the game also has a turtle who explains stuff to you; which is helpful but can be annoying when your doing some stuff. i did notice a little issue, if your zoomed in on something and click the mission tab for a new mission, you won’t be able to read what the turtle is saying. it would be nice if the game automatically rendered you to the turtle so that the text is readable

  • Great game, bad system

I was about to give this game five stars until I started struggling with the currency a little too much. I noticed that once I replaced my low-level corals with higher level corals, my coin situation started getting a lot worse, so I did some calculations. It turns out that the most basic corals give more coins per minute than the rarest corals. For example, the common green staghorn and purple finger corals give 15 coins a minute, while the rare branching table coral gives 8 coins a minute, even at max level. Aren’t rarer corals supposed to be better than the starting ones? Isn’t the whole point of collecting high-level corals supposed to be to make the rising costs easier to manage? I’ve seen a couple of games use this backwards system, where waiting longer/investing more gives less rewards, but I don’t think a game like this should be doing the same; because other than this, I have no complaints.

Hi there! We recommend getting in touch with support to look into this further/explain best how this system works. Thanks for the 4 star review! 🐠
  • I oFISHally love this game!

If you’re looking for a cute fish game, look no further. I’ve been hooked for a while 😅 The graphics are smooth, but the actual aquatic life?!?! The way you capture the likeness of the creatures, I appreciate. It doesn’t get much cuter. Although, the other games I play by this developer might be cuter…which is saying a lot because oh man, this game is adorable. And it’s only crashed once on me, but I didn’t lose anything. Just had to replay the last turn I took, so I was grateful.

There are two things I don’t like.
    1. Not enough events. I feel like the butterfly game has more events, and I really want them to have the same standards because how spoiled would I be 😍

    2. The lack of and amount of time it takes to collect needed items is a huge bummer. I’m actually about to abandon a mission (which also, can I make a suggestion?) because I’ve been stuck for like a week and a half, and I don’t have actual money to spend to play 😭

My suggestion for the missions though!! I think you should have an explanation for ALL of the missions (besides gaining xp). Some of them, and some of the explanations now, are really confusing. Only some, so it isn’t a big deal, but not everyone has the ability to problem solve 😅

Great game! Great developer! I love taking time out of my day to play their games 😂♥️

  • Underrated Minimal Add Game, Marine Biologist approved

TLDR; Minimal adds and very good for a management mobile game! If you wanted to play a fun maintenance tomogatchi type game this is 100 percent for you, especially if you like marine science or fish in general. I feel like I almost lost my mind looking for a game that didn’t have adds any other minute- this one seems to have 0 mandatory adds! Its a fun spin and not as stressful as most management games. You can also learn about the types of fish and their behaviors which is accurate to their real life counter parts. I can tell the devs put a lot of love and research into this game, and I hope they keep it this way with the minimal adds. It makes me more inclined to choose to watch the video adds when I want so I can support them.
I saw a few negative reviews complaining about bugs, but those are from a few years ago and I think they have been patched up. Great job guys!

  • Very fun

I just started and I’m already addicted I’m on level five it’s so fun to unlock my fish and see what colors there are in the cuddle fish that visits you the changes to every color and gives you rent upgrading your food pot and having the turtle lead you all do this to unlock more of the sanctuary and help the ocean it’s really fun I recommend very much if you need a game to help you go to sleep too or just some fun game to get your mind off the daily tasks of life or any frustrations going on

  • Amazing game

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS GAME!!!! I love all the designs and the style is amazing! I honestly love all of runaways games except for the bird one, I’m stuck playing this game for hours, same with the other runaway games! I love these games and I would hope for you to make more, maybe a game about dragons? Not forcing it would just be a great idea, that’s my review and I hope the developers see this and might consider making my game idea love all your games runaway, 5 stars for all hope ya see this, and that was my review.

  • On the Concern of Events

Overall, I would say that this game is quite nice, yes, it doesn’t feel grindy or anything and you can progress as your own pace, but I think it has a great issue.
You guys really need to rerun events, the number that have existed is kind of ridiculous, and it’s weird to have it happen and then never be seen again, nomadic fish are too unreliable to complete event sets at all, maybe you could give people and option to participate in an event of their choice when an event is running rather than the main one? It just seems weird that so many fish get churned out only to be ignored forever afterwards.

    Update to my previous review:
I find this game mostly fun, except for the frustrating moments. Frustrations include the game giving me an impossible mission, without a "plan" or "hint" on how to achieve the mission. I had to abandon a few of those missions. They were ridiculous. I still have some I am waiting to achieve -- that is, waiting until I can get enough fish ingredients, or enough Splashcash, enough coins, etc. The ticket crab usually gives me useless items. It's rare to get a useful item from those tickets. The game tends to give an abundance of "thing A" after I no longer need it. For example there was a shortage of turquoise uncommon gemstones when I needed them; now there are 13 of them.
    Previous review:
Splash gives me a little time each day to do something fun, relaxing, and even strategic. There is a strategy involved if you want to achieve each mission without in-game purchases. I have not paid any money to this game. Keeping it free is great! I love the detailed images, the written descriptions of corals and fish, the little wisdom quotes from our turtle guide, and having occasional surprises show up. The only complaint I have so far is someone misspelled “Scorpionfish” in the aquapedia description. Hopefully I have not misspelled anything here. Thank You for reading!
