Description of Comelit

Free and compatible with all the most modern devices, Comelit APP allows you to remotely manage your video door entry, burglar alarm systems with VEDO10, VEDO34 and VEDO68 control panels and CCTV systems (NVR and DVR of 100 series). You'll be able to customize the app's home page by choosing from the available widgets so that you can quickly access the information and commands that interest you the most. Main functions for video door entry systems: - Receive calls from the entrance panels wherever you are - Review the recordings of the cameras connected to your system (including that of the panel) - Review the video messages recorded by visitors in case of missed calls - Call the internal devices connected to your system (intercoms and video intercoms) - Open gates, doors and turn on lights The APP works thanks to PUSH notifications, this means that it will be activated only on call or event with significant energy and data savings. Main functions for VEDO10, VEDO34 and VEDO68 burglar alarm systems, also accessible remotely: - System management: arming, disarming, arming programs - Display of the status of zones and areas, zone bypass - Sending of commands such as the sirens stop or reset of the alarm memory. - Activation of medical, fire and other alarms. - Live view of IP and analogue cameras connected to the VEDO system - Alarm video-verification: it is possible to receive a short video of the event that caused an alarm, in order to check its real cause remotely. - Recording movies, snapshots, browsing and sharing saved multimedia content. - Turning on and off the control panel outputs - Receive push notifications of events - Consultation of event and alarm memory - RFID key lock VEDO 10, VEDO34 and VEDO68 control panels must be updated to version 2.7.2 or higher.   • App is decent but needs fixing

    The video comes up way too slow. We click on the app and then the front door camera and it takes too long to show the image.

    Also, sometimes I have to give a family member access to my account. Every time I have to switch back, it starts a new system. So, it says MY SYSTEM 7. I want to be able to throw the old ones away and rename a camera.

    Please fix! Rest is good.

Regarding the issue of the app not receiving notifications, if you're using our HFX system, a solid red light indicates a muted ring. Tap it once to unmute, and the light should turn off.   • Poorly designed UI/UX but functional if you invest time into understanding it

    The app has terrible UI/UX design. The directions/guides provided by Comelit are all out of date because they do not match the reality of the app which is extremely frustrating. I spent more time than the average person would spend figuring out how the whole system works as well as figuring out the app. Once I invested that time I was able to receive calls on my phone and unlock the door remotely. Most people won’t want to spend that amount of time, so if they didn’t install the system itself it will take more time than they want. It’s dumb that the camera cannot be used as a camera outside of the functionality of the app. Even if you want to look at the live feed if no-one has rang or anything it kicks you off after like 10-20 seconds. App doesn’t integrate with any smart devices /home automation devices or have a widget for door release. Needs major improvements.

  • Worst app ever

    I never review apps but had to for this one.l because this whole system is a joke. My apartment complex in Austin, Texas uses this company for its remote intercom and entry service. First, the registration email comes from the parent company in Italy so the email provider thinks the message as Spam (honestly it looks like Spam too). The user webpage is the parent home company in Italy with no clear customer service contact. Apparently they are a design company or something. When downloading the app, it doesn’t work correctly. The contact email is the apartment internet provider, and when you contact them they have no idea what is going on. The leasing manager doesn’t know either. This means I can never receive a package because my remote entry system doesn’t work and nobody seems to give me a clear answer. Really frustrated.
