Reviews of Learn Dutch

Leave a Review Learn Dutch
  • Fun to play, but wrong

This app is a fun way to learn Dutch. However, I have already encountered an error. It says that dragen is bear (within a list of animal names), but in reality, dragen is the verb “bear,” as in, to carry, and the animal name is “beer.”

This sort of error is very concerning to me, even though I am loving the word searches and experience in general. I might keep using the app it, but with extreme hesitation because I’ll need to fact-check everything. Yes, this verification is probably an important step for any learning app, but I hope that my review will draw the error (and likely patterns of errors, as the animal names is one of the first few modules I have done) to people’s attention—only use this app with extreme caution! If I do keep using the app, it will be a more laborious experience since I may as well develop my own word lists for myself.
