  • Is this app dead?

I opened the app today and it says “Gone Fishing.” I went to the App Store and the app hasn’t been updated in several years.
  • No deals.

I constantly hear about the deals on the radio, yet when I open the app, there are no deals.
  • Needs just a little bit of work

Maps either need to open maps or give a location. Twice the location was just wrong. Also (possible not the apps issues) is the places had no link to website so could see what was in the menu. Otherwise I like it and will continue to use.
  • Where are the deals?

What’s the point of the app? The app description says that you can get deals to local places, but from what I can tell so far you have to go to the Salt City Eats website to see the deals, so it’s not as good as Groupon. There are no reviews, so it doesn’t have nearly the functionality of Yelp, TripAdvisor, or Urban Spoon. It’s basically just a list of places, but they are not organized into any categories telling you about styles of food or drink.

  • Random by miles away

Maybe I haven't explored it enough, but the listings seem random and I wish there was a better search function for the type of food desired. It also takes a bit to load the next set of choices.
  • Easy to use

This app is helpful and easy to use. Updates businesses according to your location. Pick what you want restaurants or bars etc and it gives you a list and directions. Helpful to find somewhere new to try or a place you might have forgotten about.
  • Easy to use

This app is easy to use and updates when you are in a different area of the city. Wish it was sortable though.
  • Not that useful...

This app is not that useful as other dining apps and lacks many of their features. (Ie no search by type of food, no idea of what the type of restaurants are around you, etc). Effectively it's just a glorified directory and does little which the other apps and the internet can do. Maybe later versions might include more stuff. Yet, as it stands now it's not worth it.
