NOT user-friendly to new users

I tried to utilize this app but I couldn’t figure out what it is supposed to do or how to get it to do anything. I saw a report in it about yesterday that said I had several breaks but (had gotten) zero stars.

Developer’s hearts and Minds in the Right Place

This app is designed with your long-term health in mind. The fact it’s free and contains no ads of any kind is impressive and shows that it is designed to look out for your health.

if you’re willing to check on it frequently, you can help guide you to a lifestyle where you I’m more active and a more conscious of the amount of time spent being idle.

I recognize that this app has great potential for growth. At the time of this writing, The alerts did not work on my iPhone 7 so if I was approaching and bake. Without having moved there would be no indication from the app to let me know unless I look for it. The alert should work whether or not your phone is set to vibrate or not. I have also noticed some cases where I would take a break and walk well over the 15 steps minimum required to get break credit but the app would not respond.

I trust that with time and more users, this app may continue to get the attention that it deserves so that it will improve.

Thank you to those responsible for creating this application, thank you for recognizing the health benefits at this app could provide, and for making it available for us to use.

Best regards,

No longer works

NOTIFICATIONS BROKEN. :(

Without this out, I tend to hyperfocus, sitting hours without getting up.

It may not sound like much, but making sure I briefly get out of my chair every 30 minutes makes a giant difference in my health and well-being.

Good idea, doesn't do enough

I love the idea to remind me to get up and move but the reminder often comes up after I've just sat down after moving. It's connected to the pedometer so it should remind me to move X minutes after I last moved. More flexibility in reminders would also help, e.g. week days vs weekends.

Works well enough. Settings limited

Works great to keep me from getting distracted, but it frustrates me that the sedentary reminders are limited to multiples of 30 minutes.

It seems arbitrarily limited to 30, 60, 90, or 120-- An option for shorter increments (5, 10, 15, 20) would be incredibly useful to me.

Latest version

I noticed the latest version has a small fault. At every new day it doesn't present a cleared screen. Instead it shows the previous day's result as 'Today'. To clear the screen I toggle to 'yesterday' the back to 'today'.

Useless reminder

The recording of activity is good. The reminder, 5 mins before the half hour, is useless since it doesn't consider if you've just ve up and about or not. 25 mins since you last moved would be useful, and less annoying than the every half hour irrespective of whether you need to or not.

Reminders

I'd like to be able to set the reminder differently for weekends rather than having the same setting for all 7 days of the week

Good reminder to keep moving

I didn't realise quite how sedentary I was until I used this app then didn't use it for a few days. I felt so lethargic from not moving. This app really helps you to get more incidental movement into your day.

Needs Fitbit integration

Great idea but needs to be able to get steps data from the Fitbit app. I don't have my phone on me all the time so the Fitbit reflects the number of steps and any other activity more accurately than the phone does.
