Checkers sometimes forces you to make a move when I’m trying to leave a piece where it is so I can set up a channel to move another piece up or something. Sometimes I don’t mind sacrificing a piece if I’ve got a plan but this thing forces moves.
The blocks and trivia are fun time wasters, I don’t know the first thing about pop culture, performing arts or beauty and fashion though so I’m at a disadvantage
Playing the games is more often frustrating than satisfying, which seems odd for something ment to occupy customer time or encourage visiting stores. Solitaire's algorithm for shuffling and arranging cards is strange. Starting with all red or all black cards happens far too often to mimick reality. Letter blocks clues are frequently clueless. It would be nice to unshuffle letters, and/or shuffle 2 or three times. Thanks for the games. Please try to at least make them more fun.
I enjoy this application so much. It is challenging and stimulating. There was a computer problem with some of the match items appearing blank for several days. It was so frustrating. However, I called one of the restaurants and a very kind gentleman put me in touch with someone and I explained my dilemma. In about a week it was back to normal. Thank you Cracker Barrel for your delicious food and game applications. I’m a very HAPPY CUSTOMER!💕
Love Cracker Barrel and love this app. Very classy that you don't have to see ads. Leaves a good feeling that makes me want to keep going back to CB. Thank you! Perfectly simple yet challenging games.
Update: Love the new letter blocks game! I play it all the time. It's challenging and fun. Great!!! Still a five-star app.
Update: Just tried to play the memory game. Why are there empty boxes? Seems like something is wrong and hope you fix. Otherwise, it’s been a fun app.
I did give this app 5 stars because the games are relaxing and are the only ones I play online. However, for the past few days I have been unable to play the Memory Game. Boxes are showing up EMPTY which makes them hard to match! I tried deleting and then restoring and also turned my phone off and back on....to no avail. Please fix this issue. Thank you.
Basic simple games that entertain and pass the time in the same down home good old fashioned way that Cracker Barrel country stores and restaurants make you feel every time you visit . Now that I have had the app for a while I want to edit my review with the only complaint that I have about it. I would really rather play the games at a slow leisurely pace and not be challenged to hurry because of a timer. I really like the games but now that I’m considered elderly( 69 years old) I want to just plod along and take my time and not always have to start a new game because time ran out.
First I want to thank Cracker Barrel for putting out a collection of free games. For the most part they are a delight. But if you want to play trivia, prepare to be disappointed. The questions (and answers, for that matter) if longer than one line, which most of them are, you'll have to guess at if you're playing on an iPad. The wraparound text works just fine, it just doesn't display anything after the first line! Still, it is a nice collection of games and they're all free, so it's hard to complain, so again, thank you, Cracker Barrel. Now if we just had some of your restaurants in heathen California, life would be perfect! 💖
The previous look was truly reflective of Crackerbarrel, country-ish. The new look says nothing about CB other than apparently if it ain't broke, change it. Way too bright, which "loses" the game, no longer easy to play without bothering a bed partner, and more battery usage. What were you thinking? Whose opinions said the look needed to change? Sorely disappointed - love your food, won't be playing your games, though, unless you can this look. Seriously - play both, then tell me which is easier on your eyes.

Thank you for helping us improve the game experience.I tried to play the Trivia game but now it doesn’t display the entire question unless it’s a short one line. It also won’t display the entire answer. I just guessed what it was asking me on a few of them. I didn’t want to try to play other games after that, but I’ll probably try some other ones. Also, please make the app compatible with the iPhone X. It’s been out for a while now, and many other apps have done so in their updates (I didn’t have this issue before this last update).
The latest Cracker Barrel Games update has rendered the app NOT USER FRIENDLY. The new graphics theme snd GUI (Graphic User Interface) is hideous at best. The flat, two dimensional interface using bright white backgrounds has eliminated the rustic country feel of the GUI, making the interface difficult to distinguish game pieces/cards from the new whitewashed background. I tried to play solitaire, and couldn’t distinguish the cards from the background. The entire “Cracker Barrel” ambience is gone from the app, and its pleasant gaming experience along with it. If I could give this app with its new GUI ZERO stars, I would. If it ain’t broke, DON’T “fix” it!
