  • Awesome app! A couple of things missing.

First off I think this is the best app on the App Store for barbell users of all disciplines. It’s really good looking, responsive, and pretty intuitive to get going on. The community features seem pretty cool but I don’t have any friends who use it so I can’t really comment on how it actually works in real life.

The two things I would love to see added in the future are: 1. Built in rest timer feature. I sometimes try to do other stuff between sets and I forget to check to see when 3 minutes is up. It would be nice if the app did this and I feel like it would be easy to implement.

    2. Better HealthKit integration. I use an Apple Watch, and I would love it if Gravitus could upload strength training activities to my apple health app.

I have also had it crash a couple of times but it keeps your workout saved (I.e. if it crashes you don’t have to go back and re-log everything).

Overall this is a fantastic app and the one I use. I was using Rep Count before which is also a great app, but the thing about gravitus that won me over was the built in RPE feature. Keep up the great work you guys, this thing is awesome!

  • Good start but has fatal flaws/bugs

I’ve had the app crash on me during three separate workouts and each time I lost EVERYTHING that I had tracked up to that point. The app does not cache/remember what you had entered so far and it simply restarts itself if a bug/freeze is triggered. There is also no rest timer which I feel is a pretty basic feature of most lifting apps.

  • Unable to see next workout

I purchased Greg Nuckols Average to Savage 2.0 and am very disappointed that I am unable to the entire workout schedule. I have completed the first training day and can’t even see the next work out. I just get a message “Rest & Recover Until Thursday.” I don’t want to wait until Thursday to see the next work out. I should be able to see, not only the next work out, but the entire schedule so I can plan out my training schedule. In addition, I would like the ability to change the schedule from 3 days to 4.

The app seems to work well, but the training schedule flaws will prevent me from using the app until a change is made.

  • Tracker Loses Data, Great While Working

I have been using the tracker for a week at the gym. Out of my 6 workouts, I have lost the data on 2. This appears to happen when I leave the app running in the background while switching to other apps on my phone. Is this something I can solve myself, or maybe an issue that occurs when switching from WiFi to data?

  • Works great....when it works

This app does everything I need, supersets, drop sets, tracks my records and all my weight, but had major issues that is going to cause me to stop using it. It crashes just about every day while I’m putting in my workouts, I have to reopen it and start all over. The last 2 weeks it hasn’t saved a single one of my workouts that I have put in. Not sure what is going on but would love it to be fixed because there is nothing else like it on the market.

  • Lost Password...Now What?

I really liked this app for tracking my training. I recently got a new phone and attempted to login but I forgot my password. The app doesn’t offer way to access it without it. It doesn’t offer an option to reset your password. I would like to login to view my older training logs, but can’t seem to find a way to login. So I’m off to look for another app. For the time that I did use it, it was great. I ended up signing up for a subscription for the time I used the app so I could keep track of volume, which was very useful for making sure I was recovering well enough.

  • Dope

Been using this app for a couple months now after hearing about it on the 3DMJ podcast, and I gotta say I love it. I rarely ever write reviews for anything but this app deserves it. It’s made tracking my training and progress a breeze 👌🏽
  • Great features (no longer losing workouts)

I love the full screen mode where it tells you how much weight and how many reps to do, one lift at a time. I'm relatively new to lifting and like to keep track of everything I do, but trying to keep notes on paper or in a notes app on my phone was a bit annoying. With this app, I can set everything up beforehand, and then when doing my workout I'm just tapping a checkmark after every set, and it tells me what to do next.

My old review said that I was losing workout logs. The app has since been updated and as of Sep 12, 2017, all seems to be working fine now.
