Useless - scans don’t work, wrong films recorded
I scanned 5 bar codes for BluRay discs. MovieBuddy showed 5 films that were almost, but not quite, entirely unrelated to the actual films that I scanned.

We are truly for this issue! Did you notice the "i" button near the scanned movies that allows you to select the actual movie that you own? If you send us screenshots of these barcodes via email, we guarantee to take a closer look and to do our best targeting this issue.

I have used Delicious Library on my Mac for years, but had to export my library to Spreadsheet, CSV, or PDF to take with me on my phone.😫 Kimico's MovieBuddy imports data from a CSV. I started with this free version and with Kimico' helpful support team I have a sample of my movie library on my phone. Next stop, purchasing Kimico's bundle for movies, music, and books. 👏🏻😀

I use this App to keep track of my Asian Dramas and Movies.
E.g. watched, partially watched and want to watch.
The search online feature is wonderful and saves me a lot of time. It doesn’t always find the shows I’m looking for but that’s ok.

I really like how this app works and it helped me log my ton of movies efficiently. It could be improved upon, especially when listing quantities, but overall an amazing app that I very much enjoy. Two thumbs up!

I love this app. It allows me to log all my movies so I don’t buy multiple copies of the same. I would love if it did tv series also.
Good app, very good support
The old app I had been using was getting unreliable (random crashes) and hadn’t been updated for quite some time so looked at this for a replacement. It showed that it would do everything that I wanted including import, essential if you don’t want to spend a long time rescanning. Unfortunately there was something wrong with the file exported from the old app but I contacted Kimico support and they fixed the file so it would import. The fixed file imported perfectly.
The app works well and syncs between devices. Much better than the one I had been using.
5* app and 5* support ... I’m using their BookBuddy app as well.

What a great movie collection app
This is the best I have seen. It does it all. I looked at quite a few but this is the best hands down & they are continually updating.
Love it!
I've used a few catalogue apps and this one tops the lot.
Doesn't always find discs by barcode however the name search finds 99%.
Out of 300 discs, I've only had to manually enter the TV programs.

Love love love this app. It keeps me organised and is all around great. Sometimes it trends to freeze if you put in a lot of movies at once but closing the app and refreshing it solves the problem.
Great movie catalogue app
I cannot recommend this app and it's developers highly enough. I was looking for a replacement for an aging 32 bit app that hasn't been updated in a long time (in anticipation of iOS 11 rendering it useless). I have over 800 DVDs & BDs in my library catalogued in this old app. The developers were extremely helpful in modifying the exported data from my old app into a format that could be readily imported into MovieBuddy.
I am so happy that all my movies are in a bright new movie catalogue with a slick interface and that it will still work when iOS 11 is rolled out. I really like the app. It is bright, quick and really easy to use. I love that you can back-up the database easily and sync between devices. Adding new movies is a similarly quick and easy. The developers are helpful and quick to respond.
For this movie buff the purchase price was well worth it.
