  • Global Traveler Finds Soul Cycle

    I travel often with my work which inevitably makes finding time, space, and community to support exercise challenging. Yet, as a 42 year old woman who works primarily at a computer, rigorous exercise a few times a week is necessary to stay healthy physically and mentally.

    While in London for work, I walked by a SoulCycle and on a whim popped in and registered for a class. I fell in love. I loved the teacher, the playlist, the community energy, and the sweat! I now plan my hotel stays in relation to the nearest SoulCycle! It's true that the teachers are exceptional. I'm so glad I found this community and workout.

    I build community for OpenAI and can also attest to SoulCycle's skill in the area of community building. You really feel a sense of belonging when you walk into a class, even if you've never been to that location before. I've found this to be especially true in London and Austin.

  • Make it easier to move my bike!

    The thing that irritates me about this app is that when you try to move your bike, it instead books a second bike for you. Which means if it’s within the late cancel period you have to pay the missed class fee to unbook a second bike I never wanted. If I click “Move Bike” I obviously want to move the bike I already have!!! Feels kind of scammy. Other than that the app is fine it does what you need it to do.

  • Very glitchy app

    The app itself would nice, but it is so glitchy that it’s unusable! It wouldn’t let me sign up, it kept saying my email was already assigned to an account, I tried 3 different emails and even eventually a fake one that’s never been used and all 4 were turned down. Every time I try to use the “browse” section to search which studio is closest I just get a box saying “error” with no other details. When I go to reserve a bike every time I tap a bike it just loads and loads and loads and then gives up. So three strikes already in the span of 20 minutes. Deleting and just calling the studio myself who’ll hopefully be able to do what the app is unable to do.
