Was great UNTIL…
They created a hidden category called “racism” under the “safe search” option (which is supposed to block inappropriate content - you know, like porn?! - from search results).
I only discovered it because my daughter searched for the term “nationalism definition” for her history class and it wouldn’t let her search because it was in a “restricted category called Racism”. First of all, why are we pushing political bias with this app? Nationalism is not racism. Secondly, why is it hidden? The all gives parents lots of choices regarding what categories are allowed or restricted, things like violence, profanity, adult content, gaming, etc. as is reasonable for such an app. But the company gets to put other hidden categories in “safe search”? Sorry, that’s super dishonest. What other hidden categories are there?
Too bad, because this was a decent reasonably priced app. But my subscription is now cancelled. I guess I’ll be starting the search all over again. Sigh.Show lessSlawles

Much fewer complaints from my kid after the update that got rid of the Safe Kids browser and incorporated the filters in Safari. However, the update also prevents the Ask to Buy requests from being sent so my kid can’t download any new apps unless I disable that feature. Kaspersky Support said they sent it to their developers, but that was a year ago, so I’m guessing they’ve decided it’s not important to fix.Show lessjollylama1

I actually downloaded this saferkid app in other to make my very own findings and track my spouse over infidelity for I never believed my spouse could cheat on me in as much as I give my full sincerity, I started having doubts and he’s been all suspicious too. Many issues
Gave this app 5 stars initially but now down to 1 star because of the many problems it has. 1st, it takes too long to sign in; every other time i put my pin number the screen freezes there on my phone and would not advance further to login. There’s also a glitch that allowed my son to have unlimited screen time with full access to everything. I sent a diagnostic report to tech support along with detailed screenshots and now they want another diagnostic report with the issue persisting. Yesterday my son had 56 mn of screentime and app is showing 3.5h (my son was around me all day so am sure about the time). I also just tested the app by browsing the internet on his laptop and checking the app on my phone which still says “no web activity detected during last month”. Finally my son downloaded OperaGx which turns out kaspersky has zero control over and been using it for almost a year without the app telling me that this browser is simply immune to the app. I will not renew my subscription and will find another app.Show lessChem6

The iOS app is not working for parents to check the kids device usage, update the rules or get kids requests. The new dashboard is simply not getting the data.
The more detailed reports that come with the premium subscription dont’t work reliably. Some times, device usage for tomorrow is shown (!) and past days are duplicated.
I have filed a report and the case was eventually escalated after providing multiple beta app data sets, but the problem has not been fixed despite the statements from support.
Knowing that the monitored device is a Windows PC, there are alternatives out there.
The basic web filtering and device blocking is working; only the mobile app is defective for a parent to manage the application and settings.
Definitely do not buy the premium subscription as both the detailed reports and the premium support are useless.Show lessTarifa25

Never worked from the start. Really wanted to give it a try and was hoping it would work it’s issues out over time. But it turned into a total waste of $20.
