LAANC v5 is live! From the #1 LAANC provider, Aloft is excited to release the next generation of LAANC. We've designed new map styles and ceiling labels to fit with the FAA's new UAS Facility Map data. You'll find new LAANC features -- notably LAANC at night -- and you can also have more overlapping authorizations (up to five) to ensure consistent LAANC coverage and compliance across your flights. We've also improved the process for Further Coordination for commercial pilots who want to apply to fly above the pre-approved ceilings. Check out https://www.aloft.ai/feature/laanc/ for more info and send any questions or ideas to support@aloft.ai. Thanks for flying Aloft!

  • Very poor support

Really needed this app for drone operations, but I’ve run into a problem with my password and I can’t reset it. The Forgot Password link takes me to a page to download the app. Not helpful. I went onto the website and searched for help resetting the password, but the link there was broken. So, I can’t sign in and can’t fix the password problem in any other way, apparently. I need the same sign in to use Air Control for LAANC, so can’t access that either, which is an additional problem. I’m not at all sure why the devs have set things up this way. Why bother building an app that people can’t effectively use? Very disappointing.

  • Had so much potential

No updates have been provided to this app in a year or more. While I understand enterprise ventures are the real money maker, it’s a shame the ball has been dropped for the classic version of this product. DJI sync continues to be problematic and the web interface does not effectively talk with app. Integrated web browser is near unusable when searching/viewing documents. Queued flights for sync remain queued in the web UI, but never effectively process or show as queued in the app.

  • Extremely helpful app.

This app has been my go to for a while now. I’m extremely happy with this platform. Very user friendly and very easy to navigate. Getting your authorizations is easy through here. This app has never let me down. And is always pretty spot on with air spaces. Extremely helpful app.
