Fxs are cool, interface uncreative

While the app has a plentiful stock of fxs and filters, most of the fxs ade paywall’d into the app, and without a easily maneuvering controller on mobile, the app lacks a versatility that many other video apps such as CapCut and Canva have surpassed. The ability to make quick, copy layer edited videos and highlights are supported with VideoFX, though, after holding and executing layered fx chains, you’ll realize you can’t accurately time the fx or fully customize the options of the effect. Though, if you like surreal edits, and quickly punching buttons on a whim of pure creativity, experimentation, or viscera of familiarity, then the app is perfect for your needs.
If you want to make detailed customized video editing, text customization, screen cropping and more alternatives of video editing, go with CapCut, if you want templates, Canva, if you want impressionable stock fx, go with VideoFX.

Ads And First View

So, I only just got this app, and as I went on for the first time, I clicked on import and it said ACESS PRO FEATURES. It gave me the impression that I couldn’t actually do anything on this app without paying. It turned out I could still get on by watching an ad but very misleading.
Then, the issue with ads. Every few seconds another ad appears! It is very irritating.
However other than this, it is a good app and most features work fine.

Whack

Absolute trash. Free users have to watch an ad to even attempt to use the app AND THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM; after you’re done watching the ad on an iPhone X, the “close ad” button is off the screen and you can’t even click it. 👏

Complete waste of time! Avoid!!

Not going to waste any more of my time on this useless app other than to warn others. It glitched within seconds and did it every time I restarted a project. Third strike and you’re out.

Great BUT

This app was really great up until the ads. This app never had ads up until recently and honestly it’s driving me crazy!!! An add every 15 seconds?! Are you kidding me?! You gotta tone it down with the ads by a lot there’s no reason why it needs an ad every 15 seconds ok this is ridiculous. Other than that, it’s literally one of my favorite apps if not my favorite app.

It’s certainly changed

Okay well I have had this app for a while. I got this when I was really into making movies, I would make decent effects and it was fun the effects were real enough, but now everything costs money WHEN MOST OF IT USED TO BE FREE. I’m giving 2 stars because, it used to be really fun and free but now it costs money and I’m kinda mad about that. But If your willing to pay then is the app for you :)

Needs to be fixed

I wanted to report it instead of rating, but I didn’t see a way to do so. The app offers some pretty cool effects and options to edit, but the “new fx” option does not work at all. It shows the options, and not a single one allows me to select it. I really needed the water effects and that was the main purpose for downloading this app. I’m being charged the subscription and I don’t even have the ability to use it for what I need. Pls fix!
