Great, but . . .
I love this app, and am completely addicted - one of those 'just one more . . . ' games.
However, my only gripe is that there is a large cost to get an upgrade, and even worse, it's NOT a one-off payment - I believe the most expensive lasts for only six months, then you have to renew.
I don't mind a one time cost, but I'm totally against getting into an ongoing 'standing order' situation.
At the moment though, I'm really enjoying the free game, and there are plenty of levels to keep me going for a while.

In principle I still love this game, which I play against my friend. However, I did end up paying for the ‘extras’, only to find that EVERY time I log in to play, I have to ‘restore purchases’. Time consuming, irritating and unnecessary.
Also, in the games I play against my friend, we keep having games freeze on us - I may be able to see a game on my screen but it doesn’t show up on hers & vice versa. At one point I had 5 started games on my screen, none of which she could see, so I had to resign them all.
I have emailed them about these issues but received no reply. Well my debit card details have just changed, so I’ve had a message saying my subscription renewal can’t happen. I think I’ll not bother to reply . . .Show lessAventa

I really like the game except I’m seeing the same facts repeated in the different categories. Also, in “Days Gone By”, I have one left to complete that somehow is set up to have 6 letters; all the others are 5 in this category. Can’t finish until this is fixed because, no matter what you put, it isn’t accepted - am guessing because it should be set up for 5 letters. Please fix.Show lessSFBANAK

In-app purchase unreliable, support MIA
I love the game, but a recent update purporting to fix a bug in which users are unable to access what their subscription unlocks has introduced exactly the problem it’s supposed to fix. (I didn’t have the problem until after the update.) Support haven’t replied to my email. Support link in the App Store points to a page that doesn’t exist. Frustrating.Show lessidg10
Great game but cannot go beyond the initial free games
I love this game and have signed up for the subscription but cannot access any of the extra games. Link to support doesn’t work - help!
Even after the recent update I am still unable to access any of the other games I’ve paid subscription for. Please either fix this or give me my money back.Hatleydell
Glitchy; Poor customer support
I absolutely loved this app...UNTIL it stopped recognizing my subscription. One reinstall and an email to the developer, and the problem still exists six weeks later.Feminist11
Ripoff
The game is fun, but once you go through the free parts, you have to subscribe, auto-renew, no replay of free parts. So that is $24/year! Too bad, so greedy!BffBbb

Brilliant game but once free pack completed you can no longer play quick mode, nor can you replay free games. You cannot purchase word packs as claimed in app purchase , you can only subscribe, nor does any reply come when contacted for help or info on how to purchase packs. A totally brilliant game, let down by forcing users to subscribe rather than purchase outright.Show lessMagicmixes

After completing all static quiz sets, the game becomes locked. The only way you can replay (yes, that’s right, you can’t replay anything without money) is to contribute financially to the game.
That wouldn’t be so bad but it is in the form of a monthly trial... this is the only way to get additional content or revisit completed puzzles.
This is absolutely bizarre. Do EA run this app? The puzzles aren’t even that hard or entertaining enough to warrant any real money being spent on them let alone a monthly subscription...

Fun game, not worth $3 PER MONTH
Challenging game, but not worth $3 per month. I’d pay $3 for the game, but not every month. It was fun while it lasted. Buh bye.JazKaren
