It’s good, but falls short of great.
This program could easily be the perfect study tool. However, typos in some of the questions [which are drawn directly from transport Canada documents] and poor explanations as to why the correct answer is what it is, prevent it from being so. Some questions are missing from the program. I question whether the authors of this program have ever taken this test. Statements to the effect of, “you are expected to know this material as the pilot of an aircraft “are obvious and unhelpful. At least they reference the sections where the answers can be found in relevant class documents. A small amount of additional effort could go along way in making this a truly great tool.Show lessCdnAce

We do want to be the absolute perfect study tool, so it'd actually be very helpful if you could take screenshots if you see a typo or take a screenshot if you see feedback that isn't helpful. (We still don't see any typos after looking through everything again.) I just sat my PSTAR yesterday and got 100%. The Hangaaar app played no small part in that result. It really helped drill the knowledge into my brain.JustinMorrison

Uses this free app to prep for my PSTAR, handy to have it in your pocket to practice anywhere, on the go train, waiting at the doctors, etc. I think I did it about 15 times, until I started getting 100% scores.

Great App, very helpful
Love to have this with me so I can practice and prepare without having my books or laptop with me. Review feature is very nice and allows me to write down the ones I get hung up on. Pretty sure all 200 questions are in here, which is helpful. The hints also break the question down and help you understand what exactly the wording is trying to accomplish. Free app with no ads, every student pilot should have this.
4/5 because sometimes the test results aren’t shown, only the bar with no percentage. Also, the longer questions cause the correct answer dot to disappear when you are reviewing the results.Show lessWhyamistillwithrogers?

The PSTAR is taken from a 200 question bank, this app has all of them. This app was more up to date then the test my flight school gave me. 98%, I'll be getting the PPL app next.Robert1wj1
