  • Simple, Sensible, Clean and the Best of the Many I Tried

I’ve tried many IF apps but ended up canceling my subscriptions because of all the clutter, upsells and daily noise. All I was looking for was a clean, pleasant-to-look-at timer with sensible, intuitive features that I could tweak when necessary, and a reporting dashboard to help me navigate my daily fasts.

I’m hoping the developers will add a widget and reduce the annual subscription from the nearly $60/year to something far more reasonable. I will not be renewing at that price though I love this app very much. A good price should be in the $15-20 range for an annual subscription.

  • This app is underrated

This app doesn’t get the love it deserves in fasting app listicles. I bothered to upgrade because it’s not a subscription and I think the service is worth it. The interface is lovely and clean (I like blue, personally) and easy to use. It’s not cluttered with tips, “inspiration”, or weird chat groups. If you’re looking for a simple, clean, fasting app this one is for you.

My only wish would be that I would like a small Apple Watch complication. I like the large one with the time left, but it takes up a lot of real estate and requires you use a specific type of watch face. I would love to see one that gives you your hours left diagonally (to fit in the corner of a circular dial face), as well as just a normal, small “hours left” complication. Also if there was a widget for the iPhone, that would be awesome (okay, that’s two wish list items I guess!)

  • Simple to use, with all the features I need

I spent a few days testing different IF tracking apps. I wanted something simple that had an app for my Apple Watch too, since I often don’t have my phone handy. I didn’t want to have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription for a glorified timer.

I used the free version for a day before committing the $2.99 one time fee. Totally worth it in my opinion to support the developer and unlock some more graphs, notifications, etc.

  • The bug was fixed

I have used this for years and it was by far the most amazing app there for intermittent fasting until something broke. After one IOS update last November, it wouldn’t allow me or the others, based on some reviews, to change the start time. I wanted to start intermittent fasting again and tried several apps and they are either crowded with ads or want me to pay 30 dollars a year to remove adds. I decided to give this app another try and so pleased to find out that they have fixed the bug.

  • Simple but great

It’s one of extremely few apps that aren’t asking for a monthly subscription for its premium features. The free version is reasonably useful and the premium version is well worth the one time $3 charge. I mean… it’s honestly a glorified timer/alarm clock. There’s no justification for a monthly subscription. I would’ve deleted it if it asked. It’s exactly what I needed for my intermittent fasting journey. The first time I fasted I didn’t use any apps and it was too easy for me to lose track of time and mess up. Now I have this and reminded that my fast is supposed to be starting AND when it ends. Love it. Great app and I’d recommend to anyone.

  • Best for just tracking

I’ve practiced intermittent fasting for quite some time now and this is the BEST app if you just want a time tracker. I don’t need recipes, articles, etc. that the flood of fasting apps feature. Personally, I find all that excess a distraction (it’s like excess calories imo). I hope this app stays with its simple yet elegant user interface and keeps all the fluff out. I mean if you’re fasting you are practicing to go without so let’s keep it simple folks. I supported the developers with the nominal fee to get calendar and Apple Health integration. It’s the least I could do to thank them for this app.

  • The best fasting app I’ve used

It’s just simple and works. Most fasting apps I’ve tried have so much going on in them. This one, it’s minimal and focuses on its purpose - to track fasts. Not a bit of clutter. It’s also fast. I’ve noticed other apps are slow to launch but not this one. It’s just right and I love it’s a 1 time purchase for a reasonable price.

  • The Perfect Fasting App

I have tried 5-6 fasting apps and didn’t really love any of them. Sometimes they put extra fluff in there (that you had to go premium to access) and usually that fluff seemed to be knowledge that you likely know through books/blogs/forums already. They also wanted you to sign up for their service at $10/month or something. Ew

What makes this app so amazing is its simplicity. First let me start with saying if you want premium it’s $2.99 flat…no weekly, monthly or annual charges. Three bucks and your done. So use that Starbucks money you are saving by fasting and pay for the premium on this app. (You can use the app without going premium)

The app obviously shows you were you are in your current fast. You can change your fasting goals as often and for how short or long as you want. They have an Apple Watch app so you can check your progress or start/stop your fast using your Apple Watch.

My favorite feature and one I didn’t even know to look for in a fasting app but makes perfect sense to have…they have a graph that shows you fasting history in comparison to your weight loss/gain progress.

  • Love this app

This app is simple and easy to read and use. It’s not congested like the other apps. Everything you would want to know is a type or swipe away. Kudos to you all so people don’t have to fumble through everything to find what you need. It was definitely worth the purchase.
I loved it at first but now my notification of fast ended is not working after I purchased the app and no one will respond to resolve the matter

  • All I wanted was timer and tracking 💙

Update… it does have an apple watch app. I must have just missed it. Removing that remark below. All I wanted was timer and tracking, other apps were absurdly non-intuitive and unnecessarily complicated. This Fast Habit gets the basics done very well and simply… *unlike* the other app with the name simple which is not simple. Simplicity in UI and UX is so much more important than too many features.
