Good Idea
This is a great idea. I have just downloaded and installed the app, so haven’t used it yet, so can’t comment on how it works yet, but should be OK.
Only one gripe so far… the only ways to “Invite A Restaurant” are to “Message on Instagram” or “Post on Twitter”. What if I’m not on either of those? As soon as you add a Facebook option, I’ll update to 5 stars. We have several places here in Door County, WI that I’m sure would be interested in participating.Show lessGtrGeorgeDC

The GiftAMeal program is an excellent program to help feed the needy. It is so easy to do you simply snap a picture of your meal from participating restaurants and they will provide meals to someone in need. I love that Lion’s Choice participates in this programDancin' Gma

I love this app and this company. They make it so easy to give back to my community. All I have to do is take a photo of my food, post it on the app, and it donates a meal to a food bank! I always take photos of my food but now I can also help someone in need instead of those photos just sitting in my camera roll. There are also so many restaurants on the app which is perfect to cover everyone’s different tastes. It costs me no money at all which is even better!!! It is so simple to use! The biggest “win-win” of them all
Discovering and using GiftAMeal has been such a rewarding experience. The app itself could not be more user friendly and easy to use. Everything is clearly labeled and self explanatory. Each time I upload a photo onto the app of the food I’m eating at a GiftAMeal partner restaurant, a meal is donated locally to someone in need. This allows me to dine at restaurants that care about the community and are seeking to make a positive, social impact. It really is a “win-win” - I get to take pictures of the food I love, while at the same time giving back to those around me. The app is also particularly helpful when choosing where to eat given it allows you to search by location, cuisine, or even amenities available.
