  • Over 141K coins so far

This has been my morning game long enough to accumulate over 141K coins, so obviously I love it. Now, when I run out of tokens for another play, I spend 250 coins to do a replay and then 250 more on every row to collect the tokens. — Only issue during play is that it bogs down, running slower and slower until I have to quit and remove from memory and then restart to clear the problem. — Only issue within App Support is that, to report an issue, when choosing “No” to get to the “Contact Us” link, that contact link actually is no place on the iOS version page. — Only suggestion is to please add a Setting option to flash the Highest affordable play instead of the Lowest cost play. I can start the next play faster as long as tokens are automatically added while my balance is below 10, so I waste time ignoring the flashing suggestion while looking for an affordable higher cost choice. — oh, yeah, like someone else suggested, please add an “Undo” button like the one in “Nonogram Color,” my other favorite game.

  • Fun game BUT...

The biggest issue I see is that the developer is not even trying to keep current. It’s been months since they added a new puzzle. Once they have you hooked, they don’t seem to care if they keep current with their puzzles. It’s VERY discouraging. If they regularly added new puzzles, this would be a five star game, but two new puzzles in as many years just won’t cut it. The first two puzzles are fun and challenging. Then you get to three and four. You can spend your coins, rework a puzzle to get more tokens, but instead you get fewer coins than you just spent --- and NO tokens. That makes it nearly impossible to finish the last two puzzles and it takes weeks...unless, of course, you want to spend cash to buy tokens. I wonder what's in store for future puzzles? All cash for tokens? I smell a rat. This new version seems to be much improved. At least they've got more puzzles and offer more tokens. I still wish you could use you coins to buy tokens. Maybe future updates will include that option. I'm cautiously optimistic. The two additional puzzles are nice, but now what? Once you finish them you’re left with no additional puzzles, and so ,again, you either quit the game or redo the old ones. Disappointed again,

  • Best picross on the App Store

Best picross game on the App Store without a doubt. I love picross and I’ve tried many other versions but find playing them on a small phone touchscreen to be way too fiddly. This games alternate control method works really well! There are so many puzzles and they’re all quite well designed. They can be quite difficult and I’ve had to restart a puzzle many many times but I’ve never had to guess or use hints. The ads/token system is very generous to players who don’t want to spend $$ and you can keep going for a long time before running out of tokens. I enjoy that it throws harder and easier puzzles at you at random, keeps it from getting boring or overly frustrating. My only complaint is I wish that every 5th grid line were bolder or a different color because once you’ve got a lot of squares filled it gets really hard to distinguish them and makes it a lot harder to count squares.

  • Ruined my relationship..

This is a funny story, trust me. So I downloaded Picture Cross about six months ago, and at the time I was in a relationship with this guy who treated me terribly, but love is blind so I was still with him. When I downloaded this game, I played it constantly. I mean, if I was on my phone I was on this app. It was addicting, and I lost track of time almost every time I played. Well, this meant that I didn’t respond to my boyfriend until hours after he texted me. For about a week I was on this kick of only playing Picture Cross, and my boyfriend had had enough. We got in an argument and he asked why I hadn’t been talking to him. Too embarrassed to say I had been solving puzzles all the time, I brought up an old issue and we ended up breaking up. Now, about five months after that, I’m happier than I ever was with him and it was probably the best thing that could’ve happened for me. Then, I told this story to my cheer coach and we bonded over it and I ended up being voted captain of the varsity squad. So yes, I love this game and it has only had positive impacts on my life.

  • Love the game, just have some issues

I love this game a lot. I've been playing for months, I have almost completed all the packs, I try to play multiple times a day, but I just have some issues with it.

Much like everyone else, I have some issues with the tokens to coins ratio. I wish there was a feature where we could trade in a certain amount of coins for a token. I also think that these packs have too many puzzles that require more than ten tokens and that is a bit frustrating. I 100% get the idea that we have to wait our time u til we get our tokens back, but if we are only given 10 and our last puzzle requires 40, its a bit discouraging.

My only thing that makes me upset is that my goal has always been to get to the very end and open the last puzzle. However, every time I get close, you create new puzzles which sets me back so long. Can that last puzzle be one where all we have to complete is the color packs? that makes more sense.

  • One of my favorites.!

This app truly has consumed me for the past half year. Ive spent more money on it than I am willing to admit. At this point, everyone who knows me knows of this game because of how much it consumes me. All in all, amazing game.! I am about 6 maps in and I plan to complete the game because of how fun it is.
The only issue I could name from this app is the token system. Regenerating only up to 10 tokens feels very pay-to-win as a lot of the puzzles quickly exceed 13 tokens within moments of playing a new map. A lot of grinding (or payment) is required to be able to freely play the game to relax. The only ways to grind tokens on your own is to replay puzzles, or just stack up on the daily rewarding (or just hoping you get lucky to get the token reward). Grinding 40 tokens for an easy map you can play in under 2 minutes is slightly frustrating.
Nevertheless, everything about this app is great.! I think a customize option could also be a great asset to more player enjoyment. This game is very special to me and I cant wait to see the way it improves.

  • Challenging and slightly addictive

I started it expecting it to be some kind of easy, connect-the-dot game and I’d get bored of it within the first five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s actually quite challenging. I had to look over the strategy guide in “help” a few times before I got the hang of it. Even then, I will get stuck on a puzzle for a while. All of the puzzles seem to be completable without “hints”, despite what other reviews I’ve seen have claimed. It takes some critical thinking at times is all.

All in all I enjoy the challenge, and it seems to get a little easier the more you play as you start to recognize patterns. Not so easy it becomes mundane though. I also enjoy the background music, a bit of jazzy percussion or impressive piano while you play. Would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for a few things, such as horrible pixel art and the grid can be kind of annoying to press on accurately. I know there is a setting to help the grid issue, but I wasn’t fond of it. Otherwise a fun and challenging game!

  • Great game if you have money to give away

Let me start by saying that I love this game. Played it every day. I am a paraplegic in a wheel chair so this game kept me occupied and I loved playing it. That being said, you cannot keep playing the game unless you want to wait days for coins to accumulate or you have to buy coins. They do run special deals on coins at times where you get 1500 for the price of 1000. This is when I would always purchase them. I would buy two “mega packs” which would give me 3000 coins. I was doing this a couple times a week at what should have been $20. But, and it’s a big BUT, several times I was charged for three mega packs instead of two. The first time I didn’t do anything because I thought maybe I ordered three by mistake. After that I was very careful of what I ordered and made sure I only received the 3000 coins. The second time i was overcharged I knew I only received two mega packs, but again was charged for three. I contacted the company and they refunded me for the third pack. All good, play on. The third time it happened I messaged them again and, guess what, they won’t refund the extra pack they charged me for. This game is expensive enough without being overcharged every time you order coins. For this reason I am forced to give up on a game that I really enjoyed playing.

  • Love it, I’ve been playing it everyday for about 18 months now, but . . . . . .

I do enjoy this game very much. I’ve never spent money to play any game. I play this one every day. Have completed ~800+? puzzles. I like the variety of levels. I don’t like that the puzzles get so expensive to buy with tokens when you don’t have much way to earn enough to play. When you occasionally receive tokens as your reward for solving a puzzle, you often don’t get them & if you have the chance to receive even more tokens if you watch a video at that same point, you usually don’t get them either. May be a glitch or may be a way to make you feel the need to buy them. I don’t buy them.

I don’t mind watching some ads and some even look interesting, but then the ad game frequently isn’t anything like the actual game if you click to check into it further. I love logic & any type of challenge. I think the ads shown for Fishdom & Township look good, but I grew tired of matching a long time ago. I don’t want to build a kingdom or fight a war, I would just like to pull the right pins 🙃

  • Great game!

I love this game. The puzzles are fun and I find myself spending a lot of time on this game. I understand the complaints about having to spend money for tokens, but for me, it’s not really that big of an issue. Many levels reward you with tokens, and you already get tokens for everyday you play. And again, I get the complaints about the ads. But for me, it’s not that big of an issue. I’m not opposed to the idea of watching an ad to play a level for free, especially when that level is usually 40 tokens. Overall, the ads don’t really impact my ability to play the game, as an ad that takes up a couple seconds of my time is worth it for me.

I also really like the idea of all the levels forming a bigger picture, and think it’s really cool to see how much progress I’ve made in each pack. This game has so many levels, I know I’ll never get bored when I have my phone around.

Overall, this game is great! I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes puzzles!
