Excellent beginning
The art has the right atmosphere for the plot. I've only played a little of the beginning. I like the panoramic view in the outside view. I love the hidden object games and so far it doesn't look like there will be a lot in this game, so that's kind of disappointing to me. Other people may be fine with it. I like how it seems to be set in the 1920s or some other period piece.Show lessturtlefenix
Lots to track keeps it interesting
Contrary to some, I found the many facets of play engaging and challenging. Adding elements of two worlds, art mini exercises, and three scene items to collect keeps this series fresh. Plus you keep playing for your money's worth with two bonus chapters and a secret room game. Well done!Yanniefan

Thanks so much for the tip on the dots to dots puzzles, it worked, so I started the game over and am enjoying it so much more. Upped my star rating to 5.MHL2005

To solve the dot to dot puzzles you have to tap on each number twice. So, when you have a line from 1 to 2 you have to tap on 2 again and then 3 will light up. Hope this helps!Gameaddict221
Crashed during game, now can't play it
Started playing this game was going great then all of a sudden it crashed on me. Now I can't get it to work. Have tried restarting the game to no avail. Not happy at alltwolittleboys
Love the graphics and love the challenge
Even when the puzzles are not impossible to solve, they keep me entertained, really liked itClauty
Color of fright had a nice twist
Color of Fright brought a new twist to the HO puzzle genre. Overall, this game ran well, the storyline was good, and the different type of HOs and puzzles kept you interested. Some of the scenes are panoramic so move left or right to see other areas to investigate. Selecting some objects isn't so precise; some of the first puzzles, when trying to combine parts such as the wolf cub with its mother, had items that were difficult to select, some were selected when pressing next to the item rather than on it. Connecting the dots on the owl puzzle was exasperating. You need to touch both the "from" and the "to" dots to connect them, figured that out on the next one.Show lessBc2010Mom

This was by far the best Grim Tales yet! I don't know what some other reviews mean by "tap, tap, tap..." As my game was nothing like that. There was a glitch however, which cased me to skip a puzzle😡 Where you have to put people in their correct positions on stage, the first part worked but the second part disappeared... I re-set the puzzle, exited the game etc, still nothing there when I returned. This is the third game in a row that I've had problems with. Fortunately I could skip the puzzle where in the previous two games I could not.. Other than that I really enjoyed this game. Graphics, voice overs, many many puzzles, morphing objects, two sets of collectables and the story flowed perfectly! This is one of my favourites from big fish (I've played most games to date) Also a bonus game and another mini bonus game! All around great game!Show lessBlondie-0077
