  • Northern Lights in Iceland Captured!

We went to Iceland to see the Northern Lights but we didn't take the right lens for our camera. Our tour guide told us about this app while en route to see the lights and I downloaded it on the way. Wow! was I surprised to see how well the photos turned out. The only thing was that if the lights shined too weak the lens wouldn't capture it, but for 99 cents it's worth the risk. I came home with great memories thanks to this app. I highly recommend it.

  • Brilliant app

Currently in Reykjavik and bought this just before we left. Glad I did as our relatively decent camera picked up nothing despite setting the ISO, shutter speed, etc as per all expert recommendations. iPhone 6s didn't pick it up on normal camera either, however using this app the photos are amazing. So easy to use as well. I used a 6s iPhone but ended up sending the photos to another lady on the tour as her iphone4 didn't pick it up very well despite using this app also. she was amazed at how good mine were (down to the app, not my technique!). Honestly the best 79p I've spent, do it!

  • Fab

Being a point and click sort of photographer who doesn't understand anything else I bought this app when told about it by one of the expedition team on a recent Norwegian cruise. The first night - nothing and I thought I had wasted 79p! But the following nights We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights again and I got some fab pictures so I am a very happy lady.

  • Worked perfectly!

Went to Iceland specifically to look for Northern Lights. First night that we saw them none of us had a camera that could capture the moment. Thankfully we saw them the second night as well but this time caught in pictures. Thank you app!!
  • Excellent App

I used this App on an iPhone 6 Plus in Reyjkavik, 30th Jan 2016. Clear dies very dark but faint Northern lights at an activity rating of 2. I took about 20 photos using the 'faint' setting and holding as still as possible. I got some incredible photos, with others" photographers stating they wouldn't have thought quality possible on a phone camera. The proper SLR cameras present gave better resolution, and a stand would have given me less blur, but regardless they captured the moment perfectly. Excellent low cost app.

  • AMAZING!!

I have never written a review of an app because I've never been that impressed but oh my gosh! This was amazing! Went to see the Northern Lights in Iceland twice, took my fancy expensive camera with me and got barely anything to show from it... Downloaded this app to see what it would do and got extremely clear photos that I was very very impressed by!! Would definitely recommend this app, I got better photos using the stronger setting and custom settings also. Enjoy peeps!!!

  • Good enough

I used the app on a recent northern lights tour from Reykjavik and very pleased with the results. I only had a cheap digital camera and it wasn't taking any decent photos of the northern lights regardless of the settings I changed. I tried this app on my iPhone 5s and was pleased that I was able to capture the lights I was seeing - the tour guide even remarked on how good the photos were for a phone. I'm sure if you have a expensive digital camera the photos would be better...but I wasn't investing in one just for the northern lights. It didn't seem to be as effective on my iPad 3 though.

  • Works. Settings are buggy

Does work I can only see the northern lights when it's set on the faint setting even when they are really bright- still nice to actually get pictures though with a iPhone without this app they do not show up at all
  • Above Expectation

Excels far beyond what I would expect from a cell phone camera. Absolutely worth the dollar if you want to document the experience, don't even think twice. Don't expect print-quality sharpness, but this is the best you are going to get from your phone and will provide evidence of how spectacular the experience was to your friends back home.

  • Great in the dark! 🌌

I've taken great pictures with this app at an art festival at night, it's actually pretty impressive! One little improvement suggestion though - have a way to access the pictures taken with the app instead of going to the photo gallery.
