Notifications randomly stop working
The notifications randomly stop working and you have to reinstall the app to sort it out.
This has happened on several occasions and has meant missing updates from the school.Laurie_one
Very Frustrating
The school asks us to use this app to stay in touch and be informed of any notifications or announcements from the school. this app crashes a lot, i can’t get rid of the 1 red symbol that indicates i have a new notification, i go in and the notification will still remain. it glitches a lot, i had a new notification and so i went in and the whole app was blank, tried refreshing and it was just blank. Continues to crash even after restarting my phone, updating the app and deleting it then reinstalling again.Show less312804
Terrible app - Crashes; doesn’t remember field values
It is a pity or school forces us to use this junk. I could forgive the developers for the first couple months this app had problems. But we have been using it for a couple years now and nothing has improved. At least it hasn’t got worse!
I cannot type more than “unwell” in the reason field since it will then crash.
If my kid is unwell over several days (or after trying again after the app has crashed) I need to retype the exact same fields- name, email etc over again - it should remember previously entered information.Show lessOehm-Smith
cannot connect to the internet
The app keeps saying there is no internet connectivity although clearly there’s (I tried on Wifi and 4G & all other apps can connect to the internet.
Reinstalling and restarting didn’t help.

Hi Nemo d, Could you please contact the Support Team via apps@schoolzine.com.au to review and troubleshoot further? There is a minimum requirement of 8 characters but the password length can exceed this.New version didn’t fix the red 1 bug
I have 3.7 version and I still get red 1 appearing on the icon even when I have read all notifications and refreshed the feed.

Updated- new version just released has fixed this bug. Original review- Since last week I have a ‘1’ showing that there is one notifications and it will not go away. There must be something with the new version as it started last weekauds123466

I cannot get rid of the “1” red new notification icon even though there are no new notifications. I also tried reinstalling (and have the latest version) and restarting phone. Incredibly frustrating because you need to keep checking in case there is actually a new notification!! This has only happened since the last eat version upgrade, prior to that I had never had a problem.Show lessTouristGuy

There are no new notifications and the badge will not disappear. I have uninstalled the app, turned off my phone, but it doesn’t fix it.Vegepatch

Notifications do not work. No banners. No badges. Nothing. I’ve missed important school messages because of this fault, and delivering school messages is the entire purpose of the app!
Also the app does not rotate to landscape mode. Documents are therefore too small to read in the app and have to be downloaded.

There is a fundamental flaw (at least in my observation) in this app and not sure how this app even got passed on to the store.
You cannot add news from two different years from the same school. For example if a child attends year 4 and another child year 2 from the same school. You can never get news feed from both.Show lessDeepak Ramanath
