Don’t work
Nothing more now than just a safari wrapper to pull up the web client. It’s not the older version of the app. False advertising and extremely glitchy. Mattermost burning all their good will with a horrible 2023 release. You really really should roll back all your app updates to the previous versions.

App is very slow to open. Keyboard doesn’t always pop up when text field is tapped.

Suddenly can’t send message
Out of the blue the return key on my iPad adds a new line instead of sending my message. It’s always been slow and buggy. I don’t understand why this app is so bad.

Fiddly to use
a few usability issues. For eg the on screen keyboard coming up pushes list of channels out of view. Selecting a channel can be difficult as they take more than one tap to select because the channel list moves around after the first tap.
I often find it's gone back to some default channel I have no interest in rather than the channel I was just working on.
And what's with the name change Classic? Is there a better option coming?? Would be good if there were some Comms on this because it feels like a downgrade with no way to upgrade.

Kinda weird that they call this the old version when is there is no newer version in the App Store.

Look at Discord please. That's a UI. This is not good at all.
Does it work?
On my iPhone, the app always opens my browser. When the browser open, it tells me to use the app. So I click "Open app", it switches to the app, then switches back to my browser and opens a new tab. This keeps happening.
