  • The app muse should've come with!

Great addition to my muse headband!! Adds so much more to it. If you really want to peer into your brain in real time, this is the way to do it!
  • Failed to conned - Did not do any better than InteraXon

Seems like a nice product but read the connection worked a lot better than native InteraXon Muse app. Muse does not connect - have gone around with Technical Support at least a dozen interactions. Muse InteraXon app is terribly bugging per my and other reviews. Support was poor - they said buy a new device. Was hoping Muse Monitor would fix but it did not work any better unfortunately. Could well be a hardware problem.

  • Very well done and an efficient way to get data on macos

If you use the Muse headband by Interaxon and you want a scientific view of the data, this app is a must. It is truly well written and offers many visualization options. Besides, at the time of this comment, it is the only way to send data to a mac from the 2016 version of the headband (the app can broadcast the signal in OSC).

  • Not for iPad Pro

Interface looks a mess on the Pro, otherwise seems to work.
  • Excellent app for visualizing Muse data

Was very pleased fo find this app, as it makes quick work of visualizing and streaming Muse data. Hats off to James Clutterbuck!
  • Display of EEG can be improved

Great application offering a multitude of ways to display the resulting EEG.
However, better more conventional ways of presenting the data such as horizontal histogram presentation of the wave bands maybe easier to appreciate by users.
This could be used as a biofeedback application if there was an adjustable sound feature.

  • Phenomenal App

Keep up the great work. This app is wonderful and really useful. A more in depth technical manual that explains the various brain waves and what they mean would be helpful. Thank you for creating this.
  • Needs sound

Would be much more useful if each brainwave had a different tone. That helps indicate which brainwave responds to which type of stimulation or lack thereof. I used an EKG machine in a doctor's office that did this, and it was very useful to help me clear my ADHD in one session.

This app has 4 different modes in which to monitor your brainwaves, but only one makes sense to me visually.

If it had tones differentiating the brainwaves, I would give it a 5 star rating.

If it were $5.00, I would give it 3 stars without the sound.

If I were a scientist who had a use for all the different types of graphs, it might be worth the $14.00.

This app has potential before the Muse app adds the feature.

  • My BRAIN is now an IoT device - really

I have been a long time Muse user and dabbled with the SDK on my Mac to visualize the data a little more scientifically but now Muse Monitor makes it so much easier. I can now access that data directly from my phone. The new functionality to initiate triggers based on thresholds made all the different for me at when I was demoing IoT at the Dreamforce tradeshow! With the capabilities of Muse Monitor, I was able to initiate record changes in Salesforce (or any other system you have). This is an awesome way to trigger any activity. If you are looking for the coolest thing to integrate in this IoT worlds, use Muse Monitor to CONNECT YOUR BRAIN to Salesforce, your lights, or any other REST enabled solution you desire. Thanks to Muse Monitor for simplifying the work required to connect my brain to the internet !!

  • Appreciate Updates & Nice App

I use both Muse apps ... the 'official' one, and this one. I like this one, since it delivers that raw version of the pre-digested official version.

Some reviews note the limited explanation ... I guess I'm ok with that, since we're basically looking at a measure outside the brain-case ... a longshot.

As per the title, I appreciate the dev maintaining this app. Love it.
