Hi rlo123, Thank you for your Cubasis LE app rating and review. First of all, please note that we've already released Cubasis LE 3. Cubasis LE comes bundled with a wide range of supported audio devices, to unlock the app from demo mode. To learn more and see the list of supported devices, please visit steinberg.net/cubasisle. Unless unlocked, Cubasis LE can be freely used in a thirty minute demo mode, which can be restarted as often as you like. In the demo mode, please feel free to alter the pre-loaded arrangement as you wish (makle your own recordings, change sounds/instruments, delete events etc.). Hope that helps! Hi Hehfehfhehfyefgwhdgd, Thank you for your app review and rating. So far we are unable of crashing issues when launching the app. Please try these steps: (1) Open the iOS device settings. (2) Scroll down to the Cubasis LE app icon and tap to select it (3) Enable "Load empty project next app launch. (4) Close all running apps, including Cubasis (5) Fully shut down the iOS device. Stay well & best wishes LarsIn order to try the Inter-App feature you have to buy the Full Feature Set, but I find out the Inter-App Routing feature does not work properly with my Amp Sim Apps. It’s distorted with clicks & pops. I used this APP for less then 1 hour trying to get it to work properly. Requested a refund and was denied. Now I’m stuck with this GARBAGE 🤬 Edit: Their reply is Misleading & False. The Inter-App feature is not included in the Demo. You HAVE to purchase the Full Feature Set in order to try the Inter-App feature. So if the Inter-App feature doesn’t work properly, you’re stuck with this App 😡

Thanks & stay safe, LarsI purchased this app when I had back surgery in early 2019 and needed to adapt to the iOS workflow of music production. That said, I don’t relate to the idea of Cubasis 2 receiving since 2012 therefor I should be grateful. Cant help but feel a side-balled as a recent customer. You’re not wrong to ask for more money... I’ve purchased nearly every extension and would gladly give more but that’s not the case here nor the attitude. Not enough offered to justify the means, , Please reconsider offering users who recently purchased Cubasis 2 the same sense of respect you’re asking customers to have for your development. Please find a way. Gift us an extension... SOMETHING!
Otherwise Cubasis is surely the dominant daw on iOS.

Hi ezFish, Thank you for your Cubasis review and rating. Unfortunately Apple does not offer upgrade/update options similar to the desktop world. Nevertheless we will evaluate the feasible options for future discounts. Cubasis LE 3 is planned to be released at the end of March 2020. With the release, we will try to give the users the same option as with Cubasis 3, to freely transfer existing in-app purchases. Please note that this option is likely limited to the regular instruments/effects in-app purchases. Hope that helps. Thanks again, LarsBluetooth appears to be the only means to connect a device. Yamaha AG 06 is not Bluetooth. “Cubasis LE” is the recommended software but doesn’t seem to be available anymore. Really frustrating. Website lists it as a compatible device.

Best wishes, LarsI just bought yet another copy even though I have paid hundreds for existing software on an Apple ID (lalafel@me) that for “some reason” after YEARS of trying to recover Apple just wont help. And I am quite literate digitally. I have a UR 22 mkII, with an existing Steinberg acct from the desktop DAW, and for all of you complaining about needing the hardware, ESPECIALLY using an Apple device....,how can you NOT GET THE SIGNIFICANCE of the manufacturer needing control over BOTH hw&sw !.???! well let’s just say as a long time pro engineer w national acts under my belt I wouldn’t give your demo 10 seconds of listening time. Steinberg may not be easy to learn but nothing comes close in terms of its sheer power and capability, and admittedly the visual interface could be friendlier (but we are talking many years since we used any of their s/w). We didn’t have difficulty accessing our Steinberg acct A few months ago. So we are , yes dropping the 50$ sight unseen on this version and KNOW it’s a bargain since we were trained with real audio gear as an AES member and every type of software stretching back to Dr T on an ATARI ...SOOOOO if you lookin 4 friendly we suggest you stay OUT of the music biz 😂. Bein sincere here.

In regards to the Full Feature Set In-App Purchase: Please note that we're unable to change the app logo and name. But you should see the regular "Cubasis" logo with the launch screen, when starting the app. In addition, there should be no more feature limitations. Cubasis LE is the compact version of Cubasis, which is bundled to a wide range of hardware devices (https://www.steinberg.net/en/products/mobile_apps/cubasis_le/compatible_hardware.html). If you're not equipped with a compatible hardware device, Cubasis LE works as a 30 minute trial version. In addition, the regular Cubasis app is there as well, and works with or without hardware devices. Hope that helps! Best, LarsI’ve been a Steinberg customer, (Cubase/Wavelab) user for years. Since the early days of VST/32 I’ve been hooked.
I’ve seen professional audio engineers switch from impressive Pro Tools setups and sell them to acquire the quality of Cubase’s or Nuendo’s audio engine after taking demos to their studios!
Remember, to get the full benefit of Cubasis you’ll need compatible hardware. With the Neve partnership, I use the UR-RT4.
It’s amazing to hear the quality audio that can be recorded on an iPad these days!

Thanks again, LarsStill has Bluetooth issues... it sounds like a transistor radio in Bluetooth headphones and speakers like they are routing the sound through phone settings and not audio. I have an ipad with no headphone jack The only way to use headphones is Bluetooth or at least the best way is to use Bluetooth... if you’re going to make an ios app ya MAY wanna work on this! I have outboard gear but i mix on the ipad alone so i NEED decent Bluetooth support.

Hi JimmyJasmine, Thank you for reviewing and rating Cubasis LE! There should be definitely no audio issues, when using Bluetooth headphones. Please follow these steps to connect your BT device to Cubasis:
(1) Please make sure "Bluetooth" is enabled in the iPad "Settings" and that your BT device is paired with the iPad.
(2) Launch Cubasis
(3) Go to "Setup/Audio".
(4) Enable "Bluetooth/AirPlay Output" in the "Bluetooth/AirPlay" tab.
Please let us know if this helps to solve the issue!
