Aye, Captains! Long time no sea, but that's all due to the fact that we've been busy as kraken! Introducing 14 new heroes... and a brand new rarity at that: the Mythics! Mythic heroes are the legends of the seas and seafaring come alive, almost godlike and the best in their Factions! - Sea Keeper (Mercenaries); - Duty (Empire); - Siren (Pirates); - King of Beasts (Tribes); - Fury (Albion's rage in flesh and blood); - And, finally, the Grim Reaper (the Damned). + 6 new Uncommons! Berserk raves and storms for the Tribes; the Sharper is friendly with the Pirates; Zombie walks along with the Damned; Conquistador defends the honor of the Empire; the Cantiniere feeds the Mercenaries; and the Ship Doctor has come all the way from the Albion. Oh, and 2 more Rare heroes! A Sister of a Spanish monastic order helps Empire's warriors, while the Damned Assassin continues to wreak havoc on his enemies. Mind you, we've also updated a few old (but gold!) Heroes. Meet the even better Hernan Cortes, Davy Jones and Bombette! Balance: - We've somewhat reworked the accumulation of Rage during battle: your opponents won't be able to use their Abilities that often anymore. Performance: - There's been a major "below the keel" optimization, making everything load faster and run smoother.

This is no ordinary update; this is Pirates 2.0! What it's about: completely overhauled economics, card Consumption and brand new Heroes! Let's get down to detail, though. The second trio of Epic Heroes! - This Portuguese sailor flies the Spanish flag: welcome Empire's Ferdinand Magellan! - William Kidd has come back from beyond to avenge his own death... and to play for the Damned; - The great pirate queen Sayyida al Hurra is joining the Mercenaries. Card Consumption: - Haven't used certain Heroes in a while? Employ them to upgrade others! Manage your Hero Collection and build it as you see fit! Balance: - New levels for all Heroes: now the Epics max out at level 50, the Legendaries at 60, the Rares at 70, the Uncommons at 80, and the Commons at—yeah, you know it—90! - Hero Chests: more cards and more frequent level-ups! And tournaments involve considerably more Hero Cards, too; - Power Bonus reconfigured: now the Hero Card bonus increases the number of Cards you're getting from Chests as a percentage, not a fixed amount. The bigger the Chest, the greater the bonus! It also includes a bonus to Stamina recovery speed and access to Elite Adventures. - 20 Bonus levels: all players' levels have been converted to new ones; - There are more Adventures with fancier rewards now in general, too; - We've scraped the Treasure Bonus and bonuses to in-game currencies. First of all, they really were two sides to the same dublon, and second of all, it does make much more sense to include currency bonuses in rewards right away! Which is exactly what we did; - Silver and Gold rewards will grow as your Collection grows! Interface: - Domination Site visuals have been redone rather nicely; - New animations designed for unlocking Hero Cards from Chests, including some extra transparency to Bonus Cards. Major thanks to all the players: those who've been sailing with us from the very start and those who have just stepped onboard! You're what keeps us going and making the game better with each update.

Kraken us up (and you, too)! We've used the brief calm in the Caribbean waters to invest the best of our abilities (and parts of our souls) into this update: - New. Epic. Heroes! Oh yes, no mistake here. Englishman James Cook, Pocahontas from a powerful tribe and the legend of the pirate seas—the very captain Henry Morgan! - Daily Quests reworked: accomplish goals and collect rewards! Want more, huh? Use the Golden Pass and get extra riches for completing Quests! - Faction Challenges reworked: get access to valuable faction rewards and buffs! And say no to designated goals in Challenges! - Tweaked battle mechanics: new attack gestures, updated critical hit mechanics and Heroes' damage ranges introduced. Improvements: - Clan rewards increased for the Leages (yo ho ho!); - Number of positions for moving up and/or down a League revised; - Higher chance of getting Heroes from the Clan shop!

Aye, Captains! Whenever we bring out an update, we seek to make the game even more fun and exciting for you. And this one is entirely dedicated to better performance, optimization and a few minor, yet awesome improvements. So, it's about Domination Sites this time: - The period of holding a Domination Site once seized is now 8 hours (yep, none of those 4-hours ones left), and the reward is appropriate; - Time bonus for re-seizing a Domination Site is now all of 90 minutes! - Amount of Silver awarded for holding Domination Site defenses has gone right up. One cannot imagine a True Pirate Capt'n without two things — a loyal First Mate and Ambitions. Well, let's proceed with updates, shall we? - New weekly subscriptions: the Ranks! Secure the Captain, Vice Admiral or Admiral Rank and get a First Mate at your service, as well as a few other benefits, including access to Extra Events! The First Mate will take on the pleasure of fighting on your behalf, yet you'll be the one to claim all the rewards! Improvements: - Chat's Grand rework. We've done a huge effort to bring you the more fast, stable and flawless Chat experience. Communication at its finest. All over the world! Take what you can and give nothing back!

After all, our game's all about Heroes, don't you forget that. So, today we're introducing six new Common Heroes that you're all bound to love (especially beginners)! (By the way, this is just the first bunch of new Heroes in a hefty string of updates!) Nice to meet you, guys: Whaler (a mercenary), Blacksmith (he's Spanish), the Survivor pirate, the native Herbalist, Helmsman (an English one), and the Drowned Man (faction must be obvious here). Hurry up to recruit them for your crew and wait on for more! Improvements (Clan-wise this time): - Card exchange limits revised for Clans: they'll be much higher as the Clan Leagues go up; - Card donations now generate far greater rewards: be a generous pirate, it pays back nicely! - Requirements for completing Clan Challenges amended.

It's time for a quick and very brightly colored update: introducing the Style editor! Now available for the Heroes in all its salted glory. Pick your favorite and fight with twice the style to make your mamma proud! Fixes and improvements: - We've perfected our algorithm for detecting shady players. Fair play for all! - Faction Challenges: target requirements revised for a few Factions; - Fixes and edits to the News Feed.

April Fool's Day! To honor the most absurd and fun day of the year, we've added Pirate English as a language option to the game. Yarr! Shiver me timbers, 'tis gon' be quite the skirmish! That's not all. You're also in for a big surprise, but it's all up to you to find it in the game. A sea wolf like you won't miss it, though. All eyes on the Heroes! And, on a more serious note, we've optimized the game, including auto tuning of the graphics quality on older devices to ensure smooth game performance.

All hands on deck: bounty ahead! Introducing a new game event—the Faction Challenge! While it is on, all Heroes from the chosen faction are temporarily stronger. Complete Faction Challenges to obtain multiple upgraded Faction Chests for accomplishing goals! These are available in Faction Challenges only. Improvements: - In-game and push notifications added for other Events. Don't miss your chance to hire Privateers again—ever! - A few colors tweaked in the game interface. Balance: - We're running plenty of events now, so we had to revise our requirements for their availability to players. Now, Privateers are unlocked at level 11, the Treasure Hunt at level 14, and Faction Challenges at level 17. Oh, and join our Facebook and Instagram communities (check "Settings" for links)!
