  • Each Update is Worse

I love this application. But the mobile app just keeps getting worse. The new opening straight to the studio is frustrating. I want to open the app to see my projects. Also, the project display is worse. Bring back the old version where you could click the project and move the time to wherever you want. Why would you think it is okay to get rid of this? If I want to skip to a certain part to hear it, I should be able to. The new color way (or lack there of) just makes everything confusing. This app was a 5 ⭐️ app maybe half a year ago, now it’s just plain stupid. I’m sorry but these updates are unnecessary and frankly, make it a worse experience for me and your other users. Please consider making the changes back to how it was, how it should be. - BeatsByOT

  • This app gets worse the longer I use it.

I found soundtrap about a year ago and it seemed like a dream come true for a beginner to recording music, but at this point the app is basically useless to me and the desktop version is becoming frustrating as well.

On mobile, you can’t use headphones - HEADPHONES. Which means you can’t actually listen to anything you’re doing (the iPhone’s built in speaker really doesn’t do anything justice), and you also can’t record anything or else you’ll be able to hear the track you’re recording over in your take. You can’t edit instruments, and you have to manually save constantly. The app also crashes all the time or fails to load things in.

It needs serious help if it wants to keep its user base thriving on its technology. I don’t want to switch to anything else but I’m looking for alternatives at this point

  • Could easily be great, but isn’t.

Does anyone else seem to randomly lose the ability to login? I’ve had to recreate accounts because after a little while I can’t get into my account anymore. “Login failed. Please try again.” Apparently there’s no way to fix this, and there’s no customer service and nothing online. This has happened 3 times and I’ve lost ALL of my music every time. WHY is there no customer service?

When actually able to access my own account…Unless you’re using a MacBook, syncing is impossible, even when PERFECTLY in time with the metronome…each track is off from the previous one which is just ridiculous. You can only be in a room with one person at a time…whyyyy? That’s just ridiculous. Why isn’t anyone smart enough to make these basic changes to fix these issues? I don’t recommend this app for these reasons.

  • App

I love Soundtrap and have been using it a little over two years now. However my problem is with the new app update. I like the way the old update was with the navigation and the design. To me, it was better than the new one. Whenever you open the app with the new update, it takes you straight to the studio, which I think is inconvenient. The old app update was much better because all the songs were there when you opened the app and now you go straight to the studio and you can end up clicking a bunch of things and making a song when you didn’t even want to.

  • Trash

I agree with the guy that agreed with the guy that agreed with the guy that agreed with the guy that agreed with other guy that it’s absolutely trash
  • App is ok

The app is great other than one thing, I cannot scroll down. So if you guys would please fix that with the next update that would be great
  • Great app BUT…… Shame on them

I have been on this App for a few years now. I have 2 accounts I pay for supreme on both. They have the most dumbest bull crap rule. You can only hit on 300 loopes in a 24 hour period. They are trying to control my creativity and my art. When you’re in your zone and you want to create something, NO ONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO STOP YOUR CREATIVITY!!! Especially when you pay them for their Supreme subscription every month. Sometimes I need to hear 20 loopes to figure out what the best sound is that I’m looking for and boom there’s the 300. It’s crap and if these people love music at all they would get rid of their disrespectful rules that limit a artist from being creative.

  • There’s an annoying bug, but great overall

I’ve been using this app for a while now and enjoy it. I can play a variety of instruments, make music fade in/out, add effects, etc. But I’ve been having a problem lately that’s killed the experience for me. The bass. Whenever I play the bass, notes will randomly not play when I click them and even silence notes in previous recordings, but sometimes it comes back after another listen. This problem only affects the bass. The other instruments work just fine. Please, fix this issue and I’ll give 5 stars. If it would help, I have a 6th Gen Apple iPad.

    Thanks!

  • Should go back to the old version

This is a good app for beginners, I've been using soundtrap since 2017 and it’s always been good how it was, but this update has ruined everything. It isn’t appealing to the eye and its more studio focused than just play socially oriented now. I think that is what made soundtrap good and you minimalized the app pretty much. I wanna listen to my unfinished beats on the go and rewind or pause without going to the studio or restarting the song. If I can somehow go back to the previous version I would love to. Still love you soundtrap you’re very special to me :) but 7.2/10

  • It’s alright, definitely needs work

I’ve been using Soundtrap for over 4 years, and I haven’t had much issue with the computer version. However, this app has broken so many times, with constant logging out, inability to scroll through instruments, and a noticeable audio playback difference (the computer plays the music through headphones differently than my phone and headphones seem to). If they can fix these issues and make it more usable, I’d really enjoy it more, but really at this point all I use it for is downloading anything I made on my computer onto my phone.
