  • Great for showing clients or team members

I create models on my Mac at home, and fusion is an extremely powerful piece of software! But when I’m out and about I’ll usually take my IPad as it’s quick and easy, and then use the fusion app in order to demonstrate models of show them off, however I would really appreciate a more advanced app allowing you to actually work on the models. Even if the app was paid on top of the subscription I would still purchase, reliant whether or not it would be good of course.

  • Greatest CAD software

I rarely write reviews. However, I love Fusion 360 a lot, and it’s my #1 CAD software. I have been using the software/application for more than three years now and I continue to like it even more. Thank you for continuing making this software elegant and efficient. More importantly, giving a chance to students to use it as a free trial. Keep up the great work.

  • Frustrating

I use fusion on my desktop and it’s brilliant. The only problem is that i want to be able to create designs on the go on my iPad. This is all that is missing from fusion and a definite must have. Until this is possible I will be frustrated
  • An Essential Evolving Tool

If you're a maker, industrial designer or mechanical engineer - this software needs to be in your toolkit. While not as bulletproof as some other legacy CAD packages, the constantly growing combination of tools, such as simulation, CAM and rendering, provides incredible value to the professional maker. Providing this to the world as a free-to-use system for hobbyists and academics is a true gift that the good people behind Autodesk should feel proud of.

  • Full version for iPad Pro

Although this product is great for viewing my models on the go and making notes for when I return to the office, but when away from office, as must people these days their iPad is at their right hand all the time whether it’s checking diary entries or putting together quotes, the range from autodesk would real excell if it was on a Mobil plat form.

  • Excellent but...

I use fusion on my computer and absolutely love it! However I want to use it on my iPad too, the new iPads are so fantastic and I think the apps need to catch up, because I’d love to go into the office one day and not have to lug around my laptop and be able to run fusion (actual fusion) on my thin and light iPad without any hitches, please make this happen autodesk! It’s the future 😊😊

  • Basic and limited

Fusion on iPad allows you to view and share models over the cloud and look at basic model properties and dimensions. I’d like to see more useful features such as simulating movements and the ability to create and edit models.
  • Wouldn’t know what it’s like

I wouldn’t know what it’s like to use this iPad version of fusion360 because after trying unsuccessfully over an extended period of time to create an account and getting this message “oops, something went wrong. please try again later”, I have given up and deleted it from my iPad, not worth the trouble and I am over wasting MY precious time on buggy apps.

  • Completely useless and a disappointment

There is literally nothing you can do worth value in this app that you can’t do in a browser. Rather it gains I’m sure some access to your device and then try’s to turn all your clients proprietary designs into what appears to be a social media setting. I got the app because I thought I could do actual work on the go but then realized this isn’t fusion 360 at all and is a false advertisement. If you even can modify a drawing it is not intuitive and the UI is a cheap attempt to mimic a social media platform which has NO useable place in cad/cam which is what fusion360 is supposed to be about. App deleted and if any of my clients designs were posted publicly expect a lawsuit.

  • Excellent work in progress

I think if i was paying for Fusion 360 I would have rated it a 3 star program against other programs like Solidworks or catia, but being free to Hobbyists it is the absolute best package available for this market. It's the first to include CAM, simulation, and sheet metal features all built in at no extra charge, which is amazing! The other reason Im giving it 5 stars is they are actively developing it, and they are willing to listen to user feedback to improve the program. There are certainly some areas where it needs some improvement to really be competitive in a professional setting, but I think its getting there.
The mobile app is also a nice touch. Very useful to be able to show my designs to others to bounce ideas off them.
