This app is not good for what I bought this camera for. I can't view downloaded video on my phone or tablet anymore. Used to be able to store video on the devices hard drive. Now I have to transfer onto my pc through sd card reader.
Not convenient any more.
Should be able to run the older version if you choose.
Please bring back the original version. It wasn't broken.

Hate the new version with "Social" function
Please just give me back the previous version.
I do not need any "social" features; i do not wish to publish any of my pics/vids to your "sjcam zone".
All i need is just what you had before - a way to view what i'm filming on my smartphone screen via Wifi.
I don't wish to register for your account and find it extremely annoying that you are forcing me to do that, to login, before I can access the "camera" feature on the new app.
Very very disappointing!! π‘

Ruined since Aug update!
Agree with the other bad reviews here since the update. Not every app has to go all 'social media' on us. As for registering to connect to the cam to use it, that's really annoying. I found if you download an app called 'SJ versatile Cameras' it gives you the old app. It's made by the same vendors and gives you the old app under a different name. Some people may already know this but I'm new to this cam so apologies if this is widely known!!

Cannot view photos
I cannot view photos on my phone when connected to the camera with the latest version. Sick!!
Utterly ruined
Stupid update has attempted to turn this app in yo a social media platform. I now have no way of accessing my pictures. I have access to wifi, but to use app I have to be both connected to the camera via wifi, whilst simultaneously being connected to the Internet to log in to the app. Very poor. Before the update last week, this app worked really well.

Update
The last update messed up wifi transfer from m20 to iphone. Not working anymore
V3.1 Update killed the app
V3 worked fine, but after update SJCAM ZONE freezes every time now after a few screen taps. Tested on iPhone 4S, iPhone 6, iPad mini.
Better looking but a step backward in one regard
A much more professional looking app. Haven't used it enough to assess the full functionality yet, but one negative is that you now seem to have to be connected to the camera via the wifi in order to view the video/photos stored in the app, which wasn't necessary in the previous version - this was useful if you wanted to upload them to Facebook or Dropbox etc. Now you have to have the camera with you.

Update bugs please
Could you please update this bug because I can't open it it will exit back to home screen & please fix so we can save the videos and photos in our camera rolls
SJcam app
I found that this app works well with my camera, to activate the wifi you have to turn the wifi on on the camera then go into you phone or tablets settings and into wifi settings then connect to the sjcam you will be prompted for a password this should be displayed on the screen of the sjcam. if its not there it is in the sjcam wifi setting in its menue. Once the wifi has been activated on the phone you can go to the app and it should connect. Hope this helps
