Randomly won’t start
I have this App to control my air conditioning, and when it works it’s fine. But more often than not lately the App won’t start or load. It’s connected etc, but when you need to access it it gives the spinning wheel of death.
Never Works & No Security
The app rarely connects when using my iPhone It's pretty much useless for controlling the system remotely. The system works, and the tablet on the wall works. But I can't do anything to it remotely, which is what I wanted. I constantly have to delete and reinstall the app and make sure Im home to connect to the wifi to login again.
If the internet drops out, even for even a second, I have to reset the whole thing from the tablet on the wall.
I've never had these constant connection problems with any other app. Most other remotely controlled devices reconnect themselves when the WiFi or internet drops out. This app/system does not.
The moment someone goes on your wifi they can control everything! Including the garage ti get into the house so no security at all! They should of made it so you can register/manage users on the tablet so only those people can log into the app on the phone.

No security
Brilliant concept. I want to give it 5 stars. I gave it 1 instead. Why? ZERO security. Nothing. The moment someone is on your wifi they can fully control your aircon or other features even AFTER they disconnect from your wifi! I.e remotely even after they are not connected to your wifi. How on earth can a company who wants to offer a ‘smart home’ offer no security?! It is just mind boggling. Simply do what RING doorbell has done and smart locks etc and allow you to add and delete users. It’s not a desired “feature” it’s a necessity. Without that your platform is a hackable useless mess.
* Update. Great product with a few new features since leaving this review a few years back. Absolutely disappointing though that their security is still zero when it comes to individual uses connecting to your aircon.

Impressed after initial comment thread concerns
We have had our myair system in for 6 months now. Before the system was installed I read through all the reviews and was quite concerned, to the point that I almost cancelled the order. I am sooo glad that I went ahead because the system has been great, it has not missed a beat in the time we have had it. The app works so well that I very rarely even touch the hardwired panel. Great to have the ability to control from outside of the home too. We have temperature sensors that work extremely well. I have placed thermometers in each room to check that the sensors are working correctly and I am surprised with how well they hold the set temperature. Would recommend

Timer option is poor
While I’m enjoying having aircon and the ability to turn it on and off from my phone is fab I think the timer options are pretty poor. Only have the ability to have the aircon off and set the tier to turn on in a certain number of hours or have it on and turn it off in a number of hours. Would prefer more timer options such as being able to set on and off times for different days of the week. Wouldn’t think it would be that hard to update the app to be able to do this?

AmazonozygirlLimited Alexa Funtionality
While the new additions of being able to open the garage door using Alexa voice control are welcome the system suffers from not having the most basic compatibility with Amazon’s platform. You cannot use MyPlace with the routines function , you can’t use Phillips Hue lighting without having to purchase a separate hub, you can’t name zones to use with voice control so you have to remember the zone which individual lights are assigned to ect ect. Their TV ads make it sound like a holistic smart home solution but it’s far from that at the minute.

Confusing but Finally show actual temp!
Not sure when they added show actual temp but glad they finally did (in options) - can finally tell each rooms actual temp vs target temp.
Also the numerous temp controls are confusing -
Had to lookup latest feature - should always have “ my temp”on as default - myzone(default for me) just shut off air con when the temp of the room with thermometer is reached - regardless of temp of other rooms( was wondering why it on heat up one room while other rooms are freezing cold and not turning on at night) . My temp will auto adjust all rooms you have on to target temp which should be the default option.

Ok but Outside Air option not well implemented
The controller is ok. It is limited in capability without having temperature sensor installed in each zone - not mentioned obviously when we paid for it
We did pay for the Outside Air upgrade. Unfortunately the selection for this is on a separate screen from the main controls (why is it under Zones??)
The result is you can easily turn on Air con in cool mode without realising you have the fresh air settings on in Zones and your operating costs suddenly skyrocket.
Fresh air should be selected automatically when set to fan and turned off automatically when set to heat or cool. The manual over ride should be on the main launch tab.

Freeze app
App freezes have to close and open most of the time on iPhone 6s vision 13.3.1
