  • Enjoyable and good value .

    My wife and I stayed here 3 nights this week using as a base for driving around each day . Pleasant welcome with helpful and accommodating reception . I loved the good sized room and cupboard space. Basic eating utensils like plates and bowls and also cutlery included . Microwave , toaster and larger than standard bar fridge included . Had to walk up 2 levels of stairs so we limited what we carried upstairs to minimise this inconvenience. Parking downstairs a bit tight to manoeuvre however we managed with our smaller 4 cylinder car . There was parking out front in street this time of year which we used once overnight as well as a couple of times for shorter daytime periods . Our room was showing a bit of age and wear and tear but was clean . Entrance is off the Highway on corner block and opposite a small village of shops including cafe , pizza , thai and Japanese restaurants, baker and bottle shop and general store . More dining as well as supermarket located further walking distance and long sandy beach down the bottom of the street . Good value .

  • Cancelled without notice

    Absolutely terrible service. I had booked a stay for the next school holidays for my entire family (5) and was looking to call the property to pay a deposit. When I logged into my account I found that my stay was cancelled. I had not recieved any notification of this what so ever. I tried to communicate with last minute and they would not admit liability. I spoke to 2 people via a chat today. I contacted the property directly and they confirmed that the booking bounced straight away and it was indeed Lastminutes fault. I now have flights paid for with no accomodation and less than a month to organise something for the next holidays which at this point, every thing is sold out or out of my price range.

    Easy to use and safe, also save money, better than other travel sites I have experienced
  • Will never use this site again

    I have never been so displeased with accommodation and will not be using this platform again. My son and I stayed in Queenstown at a location listed on your site which was just disgusting - not the fault of this platform, but shouldn't be offered as accommodation. It would have been better to sleep in the car than pay hundreds of dollars for the disgraceful offering listed.

  • Great Location for Footy Fans

    Great Location if you like footy, 5 mins walk to Marvel, 5 mins to free tram or train to MCG. They do triple rooms, three single beds if your travelling with mates. Great price for 4 day stay, recommend to all, also if you book, $21 for brekkie downstairs each morning.
  • 6-Day stay for Anniversay

    Highly recommend The Tasman! Checkin was smooth. Hotel was very accommodating with our request for contour pillows and a quiet room for our stay. Although the hotel initially did not have contour pillows, they went out of their way to purchase them which we were impressed!
    Was pleasantly surprised with the sparkling wine and cake for our anniversary - nice touch!
    Nice hotel as expected for a boutique hotel that had been renovated! Very good location.
    As we were unable to have a sit down breakfast due to an early tour. The hotel was able to pack light takeaway breakfasts for us which was appreciated!

  • Not suitable for disability

    Unfortunately, despite putting in search parameters for disabled access only. You find out that this can not be guaranteed only after payment, and that you still have to call the hotel to book disabled access rooms. I will not be booking for my disabled parents again through this site. It is something that needs serious change.

  • Need to do more upgrade on all facilities

    House keeping not even vacuum the carpet,electric kettle fail to stop at boiling,i saw 3 big cockle roaches around hot pool,come to the pools at 8pm and there is top up on paper cups for water station.
  • The worst experience that I had. Mobile app is different from web

    I purchased a holiday package from lastminute for $3100 but I found out that at the same time I received the booking information from jetstar the exactly the same package is $2500!!!
    Anyway it was my bad not checked it before.
    But the worse part was talking with the support team to proving them that they mislead customers by not providing sufficient information about the flight.
    I proved them that the information provided by mobile app is less than what provided on their website. In my case was about cancellation of flight .
    I tried to convince them that they should fix this issue in their app for all customers but they said that when didn’t see enough information you shouldn’t purchase the package!!!!!
    So, I got convinced that I shouldn’t use Lastminute forever and will share my experience with other people as much as I can.

  • Convenient

    Great place to stay but no servicing of rooms and they take a bond per room for every night you stay. I think this is unacceptable when the room is fully prepaid.
