Game is good…but can only keep playing if you pay

Cannot select objects for use in inventory panel
I have objects in inventory (like the second fax you need to open a door early in the game), but I can’t use it. I saw on some YouTube videos that there is a “hand” symbol on the inventory panel to select an object, for use, but I don’t have that. Any ideas? I have iPad IOS 16.6JPPATD
No sound?
The game has no sound and I cannot figure out why. Tried it for the first time yesterday on the suggestion/recommendation of a friend. Tried it briefly yesterday. Tried adjusting the sound settings. Tried rebooting the phone. Tried it a few more times between yesterday and today. Still no sound. The game is completely silent. I'm not connected to any Bluetooth devices or anything. Other apps have sound.
None of the links in the App Store to the developer support or anything work. Game must be defunct?Show lesshepcat72
Keeps on on crashing
I have playing this game for a few days now, and it would just keep on crashing. Usually I start it back up and then continue on, but now it won’t even let me get past the part where I meet the drunk pilot. But other than that, I like it very much.Laurelctree
Cog wheels don’t work.
So.. one of the first puzzles doesn’t let you pick up the cog wheels and you can’t move on.Sugiwench

Hi can you please fix a a problem with continuing crashes almost impossible to play , I run iOS 15 and tried to uninstall etc but the problem still persists, great game but frustrating cheersGsx130063
Crashes and slow gameplay, but
I bought the bundle for Syberia 1 and 2. The first game is ok but now I’m more than half through it and it just crashes every time I pick up the vodka bottle.
Edit: I was eventually able to get past the bottle crashes. I still had it crash multiple times but I was able to proceed. Revised my rating. Could be a much better game if it was updated. The character animations are painfully slow, especially when redoing sequences while figuring things out. These are long games, especially for the price, but I wonder how much of that was just waiting for the character to walk through 32 screens to get where I think I need to be only to do it again. The game has a lot of locations, and most are quite pretty (especially the first town) but the game is in desperate need of a fast travel mechanic and/or a map. Especially when some puzzles involved a character sending me across town to do something, finding out I can’t for some reason, and then having to walk back across town to tell the person it can’t be done before being able to progress. And that’s the INTENDED game design.
If you liked this one, Syberia 2 is not so much a sequel as the second half of this game. Exact same look and mechanics complete with slow animations and the occasional crash. The story continues exactly where this one leaves off.Show lessDutchbelly
Phenomenal!
My sister used to play this game on the computer and finding this again on mobile brought back so many amazing memories. This game is an absolute treasure. One of the best games I’ve ever played. It engaged me from beginning to end.
I highly recommend this to everyone! The puzzles are not too challenging but incredibly interesting. The story line is brilliant and I was in awe with all the characters and plot lines.
100% worth the buy. The free version might not be that great but buy the full version and I’m sure you’ll love it.

Also, I’ve noticed while reading some other reviews, people have complaints about how slow the character moves and how they have to wait for so long for them to get to a destination. JUST DOUBLE TAP ON THE DESTINATION YOU WANT TO GO AND KATE WILL START RUNNING.

I invested a considerable amount of time navigating my way through this beautifully illustrated game only to find that it froze after each use of the cell phone. A refund is required please, very frustrated & disappointed!Reddfc

I purchased the game and it never crushed on me. I also bought Syberia 2 and worked perfectly.
I think depends on the phone and on the internet provider. Worked really well . And it s an amazing game. I played it 3 times over the last years, and still , I wasn't bored. Syberia 2 it s also very interesting.Show lessmada_m222
