Every morning this app sets itself a subject — a brush lineage, a colour scheme, a way of measuring distance — and paints it. THIS IS NOT AI IMAGE GENERATION There is no neural network here, and no training data. The app makes no network requests at all. Every stroke is computed on your phone from rules you could look up in a book: Xie He's six laws, Guo Xi's three distances, the seven families of texture strokes. A brush is modelled as a bundle of hairs; ink is deposited and absorbed; flying white and dry brush are what happens when the ink runs out, not effects painted on afterwards.
