Why, AAP, are you not updating?
The web version is not efficient. No index. Table of contents? For as much as books cost there should be more incentive to have a decent reader for those who buy online or eBook versions of books. Web only is short sited and pushes purchase of print. Better investment into this app would serve clinicians and patients better.

Pencil support??
Much better than before, but where is support for Apple Pencil highlighting
Not user friendly
Books are hard to read. Not formatted for iPhone and no “search” ability within the book
Wait for the app of the book you want, and buy that….. because AAP doesn’t give you the app if you buy the ebook.
Nelson’s pediatric antibiotic therapy app is much better than reading it on this

Response from developer
"Search" is easily accomplished within a book by using the magnifying glass icon at the top right of your screen. The ebooks app is FREE, if you have purchased an ebook from AAP via ShopAAP.org, you can download the free app and get access to all of your ebooks. The Nelson's Pediatric Antimicrobial app is developed separately from the ebook version and is a separate purchase from the app store.
Incomplete
This app is half baked. It is missing the majority of books that are available in my account using a regular web browser, and I doesn’t have access to AAP journals to which I’m subscribed. Missing books must be an obvious oversight and access to journal subscriptions is a feature that should have been included since day 1 of this app. Please fix. Thanks

Meh
Pros: all your ebooks in one place. Better than a bunch of textbooks on a bookshelf.
Cons:
1. Doesn’t make it iPhone friendly to read, have to zoom every page to be able to read. Maybe best for iPad use only.
2. Doesn’t have clickable index like if you just read off the browser. Better to just make a homepage of each book if you want to be able to click links to chapters and subsections from an index
3. Ebooks only. Doesn’t have journal subscriptions.
