AARP; YOU ARE BEING DECEITFUL = SCAMMER
I count on AARP to protect me from scammers. I did not ever think that I would need protection against being scammed by AARP. The App description is very wordy and not forthcoming.
This sounds very deceitful to me. It’s like one of those things where it says “GET” but nowhere under there does it say that there are in app purchases.
this ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY UNEQUIVOCALLY AND FACTUALLY an “IN APP PURCHASE”.
So I’ve downloaded this app thinking that I’m gonna go there and ger specific exercises for me and my osteoarthritis knees for free.
But then they’re going to sneak in after seven days and bill my card that is connected to my Apple iPhone account. You need to be more specific about the fact that nothing about this app is free. a seven day trial means nothing. You are being deceitful and I’m on a fixed income of disability and I can’t afford to be scammed out of my money because you are not being forthcoming that this is not a free app. All the services “GET”. You need to make the first thing you say is that this app is only free for seven days and after that you will be charged. that’s being clear and honest and transparent with us seniors. You’re not making it clear and like I said it should say “in app purchases” under the word “GET”.
SHOCKED NANNY
Response from developer
We appreciate your feedback and concerns raised in your recent review of our app. We'd like to address and clarify a few points that you mentioned: 1. Regarding In-App Purchase Claims: You mentioned an in-app purchase feature. We want to clarify that our application does not have any in-app purchases; it is not possible to make a purchase with our app. All subscriptions are available exclusively through our website. 2. Clarification on Free Trial and Payment Process: You mentioned a "sneaked in payment after a free seven-day trial." When a person signs up for a free trial, they are required to select a plan (monthly or annual). Upon sign-up, a welcome email is sent, indicating that after the free trial period, the person will be charged for the selected plan unless canceled. Additionally, we send a reminder email a few days before processing the charge, ensuring users are informed well in advance. We aim for transparency and regret any confusion. If you have more questions or would like assistance, please email us at onlinefitnessteam@liftsession.com. We hope to resolve any concerns and always want our customers to have a positive experience.
