Technology Woes
The friction to getting to the point of ordering was far higher than it should be.
For a bar that has very poor phone signal having to flag down a server for a WiFi password on an insecure network before I can download load an app, before I can start to order is ridiculous and demonstrates a huge lack of joined up thinking from management.
Far better to have a simple website for ordering or secure WiFi with the passcode around the bar this would be far lower friction. Better still have both
To table ordering online is supposed to be easier, this experience just caused unnecessary stress, even our server acknowledged the system was flakey,

Great beer, good food at decent prices. What’s not to like?
Good selection of real ale. Well priced food and plentiful. Lots of tables which makes it good for bigger parties, but makes it a bit canteen(ish). We enjoyed it though and would dine here again.
