Good for morning meditation
I have really been enjoying the abide app. I love the way it integrates devotionals, meditations and Bible readings into one place I can do my morning meditation. One feature I wish it had would be to use the apple pencil for the journal. I find being able to handwrite my thoughts a more effective to clear my head. Overall good though.

Absolutely wonderful app, but I wish they would remove & stop using the passion โtranslationโ
I absolutely love this app. I use it every day! Itโs helped me immensely when trying to relax and fall asleep at night. I have insomnia, and this has been such a blessing. Even if I canโt fall asleep, at least I can soak in Godโs word. But it is a little disturbing and disappointing that they have used the passion โtranslationโ for some of their content. Mike Winger and the Minor Prophets have done extensive research covering this so called โtranslationโ (itโs actually a plagiarized paraphrase) and showing that itโs largely plagiarized mixture of the heretical Mirror Bible and the Living Bible & the message and non existent Aramaic texts. He claims he used the Aramaic texts of Galatians and Ephesians when those were originally written in Greek and it wouldnโt even make sense for them to have been originally written in Aramaic because they were written for a gentile audience that did not speak Aramaic. Brian Simmons, the author of the TPT has lied about his credentials and has changed his stories about various aspects of this work numerous times. Itโs time for this โBibleโ to be shunned from Christian circles and called out for what it is, a deception perpetuated on the body of Christ. Brian Simmons also has added his own theology & hyper charismatic views into the text and has added a significant amount of words that appear no where in the original manuscripts.
I truly enjoy this app, but we do expect you to only use reliable translations in your content. And it is highly problematic that you did not do the proper background research into this โtranslationโ before deciding to use it and expose countless unsuspecting Christians to this work. Please look into the Passion Project that Mike Winger has worked on with multiple independent scholars & translators to review parts of this translation and they expose it for what it truly is. I hope and pray you will look into this and remove any content that includes this โtranslationโ and discontinue using it. As Iโve said, I love this app but I do not think I will continue my subscription in October if this app doesnโt remove the TPT content. And my streak is almost at 300!!! But I cannot in good conscience support this work being used in any way.
Also, please have James Seawood record more content! Heโs my favorite voice artist and Iโve heard all of his stuff sooooo many times at this point. Would love some new stuff!

This app has changed my thought patterns that I have been struggling with going through health trials that have been exhaustingโฆ my thoughts were captivated with negativity, worry, fear, anxiety. This app has been a tremendous help to put my thoughts back where they belong in Jesus. Thank you, thank you.

Peaceful start to my day/18 years
I set my alarm for five am each day so I have enough time to meet with God through a short prayer and reflection before work. Abide has been part of my daily routine for at least 18 years! Iโve watched it expand throughout the years and each year there is more and more content to engage the listener/reader. It would be impossible to not find the Holy Spirits presence within its content. There is something for everyone in every stage of lifeโs journey.

Love this app. Me and my husband use it everyday.
It is truly beneficial! We love watching the plant grow and change! But it would be nice if it keeps going! My husband reached 350 in the streak and nothing has changed from 300. We were both super disappointed!
It would be nice if either our plant continues to grow or maybe put a new plant in and start over (in a way) so that we can continue to see the visual evidence of our faithful listening.

Daily Devotion
I enjoy Abide tremendously! I love spending time in the mornings with a guided meditation and devotional program. Abide gives me just what I need to start my day with a mind on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior ๐๐ฝ

so like every time i see a new meditation or music its free right? i listen to it and then BAM. its locked. i dont know why they have to make everything paid for! its not fair to the ppl who had it for free! let us have new stuff to!

I was introduced to this app by my Miracle first one and only child daughter four years ago. I finally became a member a little over half a year ago and I love itโฅ๏ธI love the narrators the authors. The app gives you an opportunity to set the amount of time you want on your devotional. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. 20 minutes. Etc.
If you set the app for five minutes, frequently it will go 7 1/2 or eight minutes. It really does not care what you are trying to do and how much time you have. They will go with what they want to do. Kind of like a preacher who runs Long every single Sunday by 20 minutes because โthe spirit led himโ. Thatโs great, but this is an app thatโs specific to settings for length.
Itโs extremely disrespectful to the users time. They can edit it down and do a hard cut off at the designated time. Or at least within 5 to 10 seconds of it.
If you do it daily, this happens at least 3 to 4 days a week, so itโs not an isolated situation.
